Ha. How very "do as I say, not as I do*" of her.Idly looking through She Here's most recent articles, I noticed the embarrassing correction on her Body Shop story...so does this mean despite her impassioned rant about how 'we' shouldn't let it close, she didn't actually go into her local branch to have a look at it before she wrote the piece?
Omg top journalist there Good spot.Idly looking through She Here's most recent articles, I noticed the embarrassing correction on her Body Shop story...so does this mean despite her impassioned rant about how 'we' shouldn't let it close, she didn't actually go into her local branch to have a look at it before she wrote the piece?
She denied having lip filler around the time of her braces, said it was the braces. But it looks like it now doesn't it? Maybe she liked the look of the braces effect. The black honey reel - I can no longer listen to reels as her voice makes me want to rip off my ears. But it's hilarious to watch without the clacky narration,( the voiceover sounds like she's close enough to her hair little mic that she's actually licking it.)
What's with the tiny teeth bucking over her top lip?
Are we of the opinion she's had filler in her lips and hasn't said? Soz if I missed this already
Perhaps one of her girlfriends casually remarked it had closed, and since that's as far as "research" goes for Sali, she just ran with it.Idly looking through She Here's most recent articles, I noticed the embarrassing correction on her Body Shop story...so does this mean despite her impassioned rant about how 'we' shouldn't let it close, she didn't actually go into her local branch to have a look at it before she wrote the piece?
We're all funny, but I'm the funniest, ollways have been. For years. I was funny before people liked funny.Hi everyone, I’m visiting from the Alice Evans threads! I’ve been laid up with the flu the past few days, so had time to look into the Sali Hughes threads on here.
I used to read her Guardian column years ago, but stopped as I know a lot about makeup and skincare, and didn’t find her information helpful. However, I could see that she was useful to women who didn’t have beauty knowledge. All this time I thought she was a bit boring and bland, but inoffensive, harmless, and reasonably trustworthy.
I had no idea what she was really like until I read the Wiki. Some of the things that Sali has done have made my jaw drop. I’m not going to go through them all as you’re all familiar with them.
I will say the following. It’s very obvious that she’s made alterations to her face, but hasn’t come clean about them. If she didn’t have surgery on her eyes, then she’s had Botox to lift her brows, or some other intervention. Her eye shape has changed too much for her to not have done anything to them. She’s also had Botox to her forehead. She’s clearly had lip filler (it’s not due to her braces), and in some photos you can see where the filler has migrated above her top lip. I also suspect she’s had Botox to slim her jawline.
It’s funny how she claimed people here had empty lives, when she’s the one who made the effort to cross-reference and track people down in order to intimidate them, as well as getting her friends involved in it. If she had such a full life herself, and was confident in her abilities, and hadn’t done anything wrong, she wouldn’t feel the need to do this.
She is clearly a deeply insecure woman who needs to feel that she can control everything. She doesn’t seem to realise that due to her job of promoting/recommending products (some of which are very expensive) to women, it is more than fair for her to be scrutinised and critiqued, especially if it emerges she was paid to do so, and didn't disclose it, or if her opinion on the product isn't truthful. She is also a bully, and highly devious and deceptive.
There are also similarities between Sali and Alice Evans - the thick dark glasses; blonde/grey hair; calling people on Tattle “turds”; lying about what has been said on Tattle about them; calling Tattle a site for trolls; being aggressive on and arguing with people on Twitter; and trying to doxx people on Tattle.
I’m enjoying reading this thread as you’re all so funny and write so well : )

Sali and Alice... two peas in a pod?
I started being hilarious when I first went to a Smiths gig in 1982, none of the other kids at nursery had even heard of themWe're all funny, but I'm the funniest, ollways have been. For years. I was funny before people liked funny.
I can’t see anything on her substack about a 6.99 charge, do you know where that is? Also her posts are all open so I doubt 11k subscribers are paying that. Many are probably free subscribers
You can be funny. I'm whip-smart. My girlfriends tell me all the time. We're all funny, but I'm the funniest, ollways have been. For years. I was funny before people liked funny.

Massimo Dutti can duck off as they only cater for skinny types. Their largest size is a 14 and I’m sure our little Welsh smol pixie is barely a 4These Hermes sandals look very ill fitting.

There is currently no charge, they’re all free subscribers.
I was listening to a podcast who started a patreon with extra content and they said figures suggested it would be something like 5% of free subscribers who actually make the move to paid subs, so that’s what they were aiming for. I wonder if it’s similar for Substack?
I discovered Funny when it was playing in a band at the village fete. I was wearing a not-yet-fashionable Kurt Cobain cardigan and a worn-in pair of not-yet-invented doc martens. I may have been fresh out of a high chair and plastic pants but it alludes me now. By the way, that band? The Beatles. We're all funny, but I'm the funniest, ollways have been. For years.
