How often though do we see powerful men getting away with it? Even Al Fayed has got away with it. I think those women will see some compensation, but only from the Qatari government who own Harrods (they want the case to go away as quickly as possible). The actual Al Fayed estate will not lose a penny as all their money is locked away behind opaque trust funds and offshore bank accounts.

But surely we are more aware of this since the Savile case, and Brand's comedy career has disappeared especially since the allegations last year. Savilles career carried on despite senior people at the BBC knowing about his vile antics.
