I'm out of the loop. How is an English druggie allowed to ply his trade in the USA? I studied over there for a time and the amount of hoops you have to jump through to even get a student visa would make your mind boggle. How does a druggie and alleged fanny-fiddler get over there? It's the amulet isn't it. You're going to say it's the bleeping amulet aren't you. duck. I need that amulet SO BAD.

You need to untrain yourself. A lot of people who appear on mainstream media are creepy. It's a bloody weird profession. Brainwashing by corporations to create 'celebrities' to sell products, that's essentially what the game is.

I know Russell isn't on mainstream media now, but that makes it even worse. I'm not saying everyone who is driven to appear on telly is a weirdo, but it's a high bleeping number I can assure you. Emotionally stable people want to be doctors, nurses, train-drivers etc. etc. Only bleeping nutjobs what to be on telly. I know you think I'm nuts, but it's the truth. I don't trust any of the fuckers.
 
Russell's always looked seedy and creepy.

There are some people who just love performing (in whatever capacity) and accept that fame is a side effect of it which isn't the main driving factor. However, I'd definitely say that most are narcissists, and I can count the amount of male comedians that aren't raging narcs on one hand and still have fingers left over. Comedy's definitely the main avenue of entertainment where a lot of the male performers are misogynistic psychopaths. No wonder it's suited Russell so well over the years.

I totally agree, and would say it is true of many in the public sphere who want fame (whether entertainment, sports or politics). The need for admiration and feel superior, often with high risk behaviours which can be exposed, requires a high level of narcissism plus stepping on other people plus a willingness to sacrifice any morals at the front door. These are people who need constant reinforcement of their egos.

It feels pretty intuitive when you see people who are kinda incidentally famous for a talent or passion versus a pure desire for fame - reality tv is a clear one.

I hope this vile fcukwit gets his cumuppance. He won't of course. But I have to have hope otherwise what else is there? Same goes for every other vile misogynistic predator out there, especially orange coloured ones. :cautious: People like Brand offer NOTHING to society, only negatives. They are a drain. Feckless, lazy, talentless, violent. Hopefully some of his enablers will get caught too, equally vile and also greedy.
