Pulled this off Bester’s story the other day and forgot to post it. Nice to know he feels comfortable to fleece people while without proper qualification 👍

Also, hilarious that you can compare it to the treadmill ad from today @GlassCup just posted here and see how much crap is piled on it 😂 is that a bike I see?

I'd never heard of this Helen Gaunt before, but since this is the first post of hers I came across she has not endeared herself to me to say the least.

Regardless of why she looks this way, this woman really needs to pick her words more carefully. Skinny is not a good term to use. To me it means weak, undernourished and ill. That is not a natural state of being, and should never be used as almost synonymous with athleticism. For somone who works as a PT, she should be ashamed, not of her appearance, but her lack of care and thought for the level of influence she has as a fast and naturally gifted runner.

Oh I totally hear you on this one. And what also annoys me is she both complains about being “skinny” and then deliberately accentuates it in her photos - eg by standing on tip toes to lengthen and slim legs and / or pulling shorts down so can see hip bones. To me that screams seeking validation as a great runner because she’s so lean. Look at me, I’m so thin! It’s all a bit messed up and a terrible message.

Last night Sarah posted that she was surprised with a Nando’s takeaway, which seemed to include no bread or carbs (who doesn’t get the rice?!?) and a half a burger (claims she already ate the other half but…) honestly it’s painful to watch

I know :( And when she posts cookies or baked goods I swear she just takes a bite or two, puts the rest away and eats some more on another day, but makes it look like she ate the whole thing. There was a Pret cookie that seemed to last her three days if you're sad like me and pay attention to the shape of the thing and where the tiny bites are missing from.

Bester posted that Best Athletics has 190 coached athletes, even assuming they were all on the cheapest monthly package that would be £14,250 a month 🤯
It’s mad. I’ve heard that over 100 are his alone, but he just ignores most of them, so there is extremely high turnover. I’m sure he only pays attention to his “star” athletes and the rest are an afterthought

You can’t look after 100 people properly just impossible
Well exactly! But then it seems like he has a constant revolving door of people who can be tossed aside, thanks to stuff like this BBC nonsense. Most coaches I know (who are good) cap their service at a certain number to make sure everyone is tended to! At this point it’s pure greed
