I’ll never be an influencer - I don’t even get a valid email code from Ronhill for their “win a London place” email gathering Strava rubbish.

Just a blank blanket email template without any personalisation.

I keep coming across Mary McCarthy on tiktok, she is probably harmless but a wealthy privately educated former junior athlete showing running as sunshine and rainbows really irritates me. It is so far from reality of most early 20s like her.
 
I thought everyone raved about the aonjie vest from Amazon for a cheap basic vest. But otherwise I'd echo Decathlon. If there's not one near you delivery to Asda is possible, but will still cost. For some reason Decathlon have snubbed the SW and we have to go to Cardiff or Cheltenham, I'm so pissed off about it!

I’ve got an aonije one. Mainly cos I don’t have a decathlon near me 😂
 
So carla_moves clearly seeing the pay off from buying around 60k followers. She’s been given a deal with sports direct and puma or some crap like that. Wait until she’s back off honeymoon and will be unbearable again 🤢

This really irritates me. Why do so many brands do no research on who they are asking to be reps? They just chuck money at the person with the most followers, regardless of whether or not they’re real.

This! Plus there’s no loyalty - anyone can see these grifters will take any brand for free, they have no loyalty to anything - except those bloody Nike shoes!

Yeah exactly! A quick look on a certain site shows me that she buys her followers and what dates and how her engagement is less than 1% which is piss poor

She’s a genius! She takes the piss out of them all and she seems very genuine.
 
Fake beans is riviting as duck! Why would people need to know and you to feel the need to story about your mother helping clear your cupboards and you found out you flour is out of date and and you have to some more to make muffins and sign the story off about how it’s been a hell of a morning 🤦🏽‍♀️ can imagine how entertaining she must be to live with

really? Some of our favourites didn’t make the cut. Bet welloggs and bester are fuming. But also people like runnerbeans did which is hilarious.

oh and Kirsty got gifted a place for Berlin which she of course couldn’t turn down even though Amsterdam is the goal race.

I’ve just unfollowed a whole load of runstagrammers (will still be parked here for the gossip though🪑😂) as it was frustrating me that I’ve had to drop down to 3 runs a week due to work rather than 4 and seeing people doing it whenever they want was getting to me. I wish I could just abandon my job/kids (that I don’t have) in the car for races!

Kirsty is dullness personified. Clearly realised marathons are what brings the engagement (did you know she is a Boston marathoner 🥱) - half marathons just aren't so impressive in the insta-sphere. And the whole 'project stripey' is just ridiculous. "Times do not define me", sure they do otherwise you wouldn't keep bleating on about them.
