I’ve noticed when influencers are reviewing shoes, if they say “it’s a great shoe for short runs”, it means it utter tit.
I wouldn’t trust any of them with shoe review.
I just laugh at those clowns like fordy who say a shoe is absolutely tit and an over priced waste of money, yet it’s been designed by the sponsored pro athletes and trialled for months and months by them

Runnerbeans being a fake twit again! This morning posting a reel that’s been done to death and her running form! Only last week she posted about being a heel striker and how she’s ok with that and it’s fine, yet her crappy running for on these videos is anything but and looks so unnatural 🙄

runnermancbee is so worrying, on her park run post yesterday she said she’s having a ‘SWEET rest day’ today, and her stories she’s talked about where’s she’s running today and then a photo in the gym?! does she ever rest?

I get the impression she does it for attention. Plus she has exercise addiction. She’ll post about how she needs to rest and eat more to get her period back (on a forced rest day when she’s feeling so guilty about resting, almost like she’s justifying it to herself ) then be back at it the next day with exercising 3 times a day and posting her lunch which is basically a bowl of salad and “soo much protein!”. She’s really fake?

Came here to say all of this!! Especially with the heel strike. She went on about how you shouldn't be ashamed of being a heel striker, you don't need to change it, nothing wrong with it and yet she purposefully changes the way she runs for reels. Why? Or did she lie about being a heel striker to be "relatable". She genuinely is quite dull isn't she 🫣

She’s not just dull, she’s a bleeping twit

Sorry to derail but any recs for hydration packs/vests? Just need space for x2 soft flasks on chest, then couple of gels and keys etc. Don't want to be spending £100+ if I can help it

I've got a Salomon hydration vest (around £85 but really easy to adjust and doesn't go anywhere when you're running) but used to have a Decathlon one like this https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/5l-tr...5_1691423775_b73f226f37d7d401d52c6c2dc2690ae1 which was really good too. Most important thing is having two cross chest straps and adjustability.

If you only want it for two soft flasks, a couple of gels and keys would something like a hydration belt suit you better? https://www.decathlon.co.uk/p/hydration-flask-carrying-running-belt-black/_/R-p-333176?mc=8645720

Decathlon. For anything basic, just do it. Just ensure you create an account with them and if you buy in store that you sign in on the till. Two year warranty on any of their own brand stuff which is superb for active wear / accessories. I’ve had stuff refunded or replaced no questions asked when zips break / the lining on something wears through etc.
