Her tone in that set of stories re tattle is very different to her normal tone, beseeching sympathy maybe.

overall I do like RMC, I did unfollow her when she basically said anyone that doesn’t agree with her on the trans issue is an utter cretin.
It’s also interesting that like all the others she focused only on the negative, I’ve seen plenty of praise for her on both threads, yet she only mentions the negative.
Rosemary’s second guessing herself and intrigue in reading here reminds me a bit of myself and I do sympathise with her when she says she questions herself if the critical comments on here are right and that they are some of the things she asks herself also. Mind you she kind of lost me
When she said her MH wouldn’t allow her to do a 9 to 5 in an office. While she did admit that was a very privileged thing to be able to say, personally, it would’ve been better left unsaid. There are many many MANY men/women who suffer severely with their mental health but they still have to put down the 9 to 5 because their families depend upon them to do it, her justification that she’s worked hard to be able to do so is also laughable, Rosemary love, you write money diaries about how much the batteries for your vibrator cost you girl, you’re no James Joyce like.

I’m glad she has her sister, she seems to be very grounded, I think RMC is basically a good person, her heart is in the right place mostly, she’s just very immature and can’t see the wood for the trees a lot of the time.

I thought the exact same when I was watching her Insta story - she should have just said nothing.
Totally alienating her audience.

I was straight over here to find that out too! Can’t believe it’s CP!!! I always wondered what happened to his marriage and was so confused by the family setup there…for ages, I thought the two older girls were from the second marriage as his 2nd wife refers to them as her daughters??? Anyone got any insight for me??

But she ultimately has control over what she writes about regardless of what she calls herself, which is basically my point. All of it is within her control. So if she doesn't like the feedback on it, she has the choice not to put it out there. And yes she said her mental health might not be able to take working in an office for someone else, but there are plenty of other jobs out there that don't require that, and yes I know her visa conditions blah blah blah, so get a flight back to Ireland and work in your local supermarket, become a dog walker, a cleaner, a warehouse picker, a delivery driver, any number of other jobs not in an office!

It is all her own choice, so live with the consequences of your own choices Rosemary, that's life.

Seriously? Are you suggesting that she should leave her husband and step sons and return to Ireland and break up a family? Her only option is the one she has at present. She will have more options when she gets her green card.

To be fair she could just start writing about other things except herself and her family. The only people that are talked about on tattle are the ones that put their personal life out there. I have more followers than Rosemary, nobody is here talking about me because my page is strictly business, there is nothing to 'tattle' about. I plug my stuff, I talk about the weather, maybe mention my cat. Kids, relationships, actual stuff that matters? Nope, not a chance.

She takes the lazy way out, and it is lazy to talk about yourself all of the time rather than do research and talk about tit that actually has some depth and there are consequences to that lazy way out and that is that people are going to talk about you. I think she is a good writer but we've heard it all before. I was shocked that it took her 2 days to write the Guardian article when it was just regurgitated shite, I thought she would have it down pat by now.

You can't write exclusively about yourself then get pissy when people talk about you. She says she is a feminist right? Do some research on gender roles in the midwest and the impact that the young age people marry has on women, interview people and write about them. She fancies herself a 'trans ally' go out and find some trans people in the Midwest, what are their lives like, write about them. I mean there are literally millions of stories out there that aren't hers, just find some of them and write about them. Be thoughtful, be insightful, be anything but bleeping self centered, then maybe people will focus on the quality of her work and give insightful critiques but as long as your content is 'I was so desperate for a man I found a married one' people are going to talk about you.

Yes to all of this! I love Rosemary's writing style and would love to read more opinion pieces by her.

I would too. Like her son has been diagnosed with autism and she was talking about trying ABA, dig deep on that, find some autistic adults that have had ABA, what do they think, how did it shape them? The whole trans thing, instead of unfollow me if you don't agree talk to me about it, tell me why you feel that way. I know it would take time, research and thought but I would read them and I would comment on the content of them and I wouldn't care if Rosemary lived exclusively off take aways while writing them because I wouldn't know about it.

I assure you, I am as random as they come 😂 He has a new wife and a young daughter with her. RMC is such a lazy writer, repeating the same stuff over and over again, that years ago, she wrote about passing the married man in the street with his new girlfriend. I think she mentioned Stoneybatter/Phibsborough too. CP lives there and she was working in the IT at the time so I put two and two together.

No no no no. ABA is not defendable. For comparison, it’s like gay conversion therapy. It is abuse.
