I‘m decades too old for that show but I watched it all and yes, that last episode broke me (in a good way). I’m not someone who cries easily during films or shows, but the emotion in that final scene? My god, I’m tearing up just thinking about it!

absolutely seconding the vote for young royals: it’s angsty in places but beautifully done with a great payoff. heartstopper is probably the obvious comparison too but i did find it almost too sweet at times.

if you have netflix, any k-dramas will also give you a similar vibe. immediately recommending crash landing on you 💙

I'm struggling to think of something as fun, heartfelt and sexy as RWRB but other good gay movies/TV series I've seen recently.

- Heartstopper (TV series but similarly wholesome, but not particularly sexy/hot)

- Smile - fun and quite hot Spanish TV serious on Netflix with a mismatched gay couple as central story.

- Handsome Devil - Nick plays gay again llol.but good coming of age movie. Think it's on amazon prime.

- Firebird - quite sexy but more dramatic and serious. I had to buy this, not sure if its available anywhere free

- In From The Side - this is sexy lol although the central story is about a gay rugby team and two guys have an affair so maybe not the most sympathetic. But i still really enjoyed it and the two leads aren🥵🥵. On Netflix.

- Bros - is OK and has a few sexy moments but it's a bit stereotypical. Think its on Now TV

considered adding all of us strangers but it broke my heart 😭😭

another one that is a bit angsty, but great (and i think still on netflix) is in from the side - if anyone wants a spicy romance between rugby players 🤣

Haha yeah I went back and added in from the side. I really enjoyed it, even though the leads are quite awful people lol I think sex sold this one to me I admit....I mean...

it’s the perfect escapist movie (and i feel like it only improves on a rewatch too tbh!) - make the most of that free trial :)
