Ben the ever so clever accountant needs to do a cost benefit analysis of why it’s worth paying £50 to check in a suitcase rather than schlep through airports with that rubbish. She’s one step away from looking like a homeless person with their goods in a shopping trolley, especially with that coat. One of the bags is even a shopping bag! Maybe she’s got a tent in there and plans to save on the Airbnb? Fit right in NYC.

Absolutely barking, double buggy on the subway! 😂 …and overloaded bags about to take out the kiddos!

I assume she’s flown with American Airlines. This is their hand luggage requirements, NO WAY are those massive rucksacks within those depth measurements, 23cm?!
How does she get away with it?

So is it one of these included per person? If so I don't get how they've managed to take so many bags without paying extra. The ridiculous double buggy is checked for free but once they each take one case that still leaves 3 cases (plus the carrier bag of food) so how are they getting away with it?

Would love to see the look on a New Yorker mom’s face when small town Englander Grabby arrives at the park with her pasty weirdo husband and two children in a double buggy!!! Plastered in leopard print head to toe, wrapped up like its winter not “Fall”.

I don’t imagine NYC children use buggies for long, get those kids on their feet and walk asap, no one has the time or space for long term buggies there.

They’ve shelled out for a hotel!! Blimey wonder what tiny tit hole of a cupboard room will the tight arse Sterlings be able to afford in NYC?! 😂
Back in 2014 she said they’ve stayed at the Benjamin a couple of times. I very much doubt that’s where they’ll be staying this time.

she also had a paid trip in 2017 and they stayed at the Roger and somewhere in the meat packing district

As always with her blog there are multiple parts to each trip

I don't know any 'adult' who gets so excited about Halloween, she's never grown up has she 😕
And I bet New Yorkers have all gone into hibernation, knowing this revolting family have arrived!

Incoming rant.
Who wears a long coat flying? That scanky encrusted camel monstrosity is another thing they will have to stow away in an overhead locker.
The kids getting out all their toys and stuff on an airport concourse which is rammed with tons of families flying out for half-term.
The insanity of those books with millions of pull out parts to make models. 5 seconds of turbulence and they’re all over the floor. I bet all cabin staff absolutely hate them.
Finally the utterly deranged decision to hike it to airport station, get on subway (contrary to what she says NY subway would be a nightmare with a double buggy) then walk to the hotel. Those poor children look absolutely totally wrecked.

They really are skint aren’t they? Having to penny pinch so much to do this trip, I’d rather stay at home.
Flights were probably air miles that Ben gets by paying for everything on a credit card. Hotel was probably stumped up for by the kedgefunders. There’ll be no restaurants or nice bars, just Tupperware picnics and squirrelling away the hotel breakfasts for lunches. Then Grabby getting her 20 million steps in to look at Halloween stoops and the FRKs dressed up in their polyester shite costumes to join Halloween parades so Grabs can pretend she’s a New Yorker 🙄 With the odd trip to bargain basement cost co type places so she can buy puréed pumpkin to lug home in the double buggy. bleeping tragic.

I think maybe American offers one free checkin plus the hand luggage? So she must have checked in the huge backpacks. I can’t believe they got the train and the subway so late at night after a flight with small children that’s mad, how will the manage the stairs ect?
You’re allowed to take one personal item and one carry on bag. For normal people, the personal item is a purse with passport, phone, money and maybe a book for the flight.
