What I can’t understand is, if the health board admitted they were wrong, and indeed gave her a payment to that effect, why is A still not back under her care? Of course it couldn’t be because we are only being shown selected bits of paperwork that make her look like she’s in the right.

Absolutely. All it proves is that they were wrong about this one thing, there is definitely more to it.
What were the allegations that A made? Is that the real reason Reann cut her off? What’s Reann’s real game here? It’s very clearly not about seeing her daughter again.

I think she's trying to convince herself, as much as everyone else, that she's not a terrible parent. By focusing on their mistakes and allowing it to consume her, it doesn't give her a moment to reflect on her own failings. Not that she ever would
Losing custody is the rock bottom last resort when the risk to the child outweighs everything else. SS work with parents who want to be worked with to keep the child in the family home wherever possible. This bullshit about there being a trade in children is seized on to alleviate the unpalatable truth that you were too much of a danger to your own kid. It costs local authorities many thousands out of their budget to remove and rehome. It's better for them that the kid can stay with the family so when it doesn't it's because there was ongoing clear and present danger.

Absolutely. My sister is a foster carer and deals with an abundance of parents who have a manipulative sob story, but when you get the background information, have allowed their children to be exposed to the most horrifying things. Even then, there are kids in her care who have contact with their parents every day or every other day, such are the lengths that SS go to to keep kids in contact with their families.
I've no doubt these parents grew up in similar chaotic households themselves, so can't comprehend that the way they treat their children is neither normal nor acceptable.

Really don't know, she obviously only posts the small bits in her favour. On thread 1 there's a screenshot of her talking about cutting contact (as in visitation rights i assume) and declining a phone call from her. Really sad.

It's a damn shame confidentiality only works one way and social services aren't allowed to community note these bulllllshiiiitt stories she's always platforming. Be great if they could confirm actually no this child wasn't removed for nappy rash it was removed cos its mother is a neglectful horrible bleep who shouldn't have a goldfish.

You can count the amount of money I've had from the government in my adult life on no hands, because it's bleeping zero pounds and zero pence. And I'm still incredibly grateful that I live in a country with a free education and healthcare.
Her children are housed, clothed, fed, educated and given free healthcare courtesy of the taxpayer. The biggest problem her children will ever have is their useless mother.

As previously stated, it’s clear these people have had an appalling upbringing and history - they are just repeating it with anther 10. It’s like rabbits or rats. Another couple of generations and this bunch of halfwits could be responsible for plus 50% of the total Welsh benefit budget. Apart from the one who is 100% going to be a lesbian or non binary (that anyone with a pair of eyes and worldly experience can see from a mile off but Reann and her maga muppet husband seem to be completely oblivious to).

I genuinely think these career benefit dependant types think that everyone who works earns like 50k + per year. They have absolutely no concept of how much things like rent and utilities cost either, because they have all that stuff taken care of.
