Seen that. I'm shocked tbh. I didn't think he'd be found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
He put himself on the bridge at the exact time in the same clothing. The odds of someone identical to him at that exact time - someone he didn’t apparently see but could identify all other people in the area that day - are rare. He is a dead ringer for bridge guy. Apparently his voice is identical also.

I’m surprised no one else follows it but there’s been a guilty verdict in the Delphi trial. Those girls have justice at last.
There is a thread for Delphi.

I'm horrified at the verdict. I'm not saying the guy in innocent but there was so much reasonable doubt imo.

I really wanted justice for Abby and Libby, have since it happened but this doesn't feel like justice to me.

He said He won’t be safe in his own country as He would be “tortured and treated inhumanely”.. well He should have thought about that before committing 19 crimes in 9 years! He gets what he deserves.
I’m not sure on what grounds he entered this country, but if it was for safety reasons, well we are not safe from him and his filthy crimes, 19 crimes in 9 years - probably more than 19, those are just the ones he has been caught for! I am not against immigration etc, however, it’s time for him to be deported. He’s a safety risk to women and the vulnerable. If I was rescued from a country that was torturing me, I would NOT then be causing harm and chaos in the country that provided me with safety! It’s these people that give immigrants etc a bad name. Dirty rotten bastard.

Ok. Who believes her?

Oh c'mon, we've all been there, 2 strange men offer you a holiday to Mexico and then want you to carry 'money' back to the UK...why would you question £250,000?
Such an easy mistake!
Poor girl, had no opportunity to tell anybody about the 'money' at any point.

The real crime here is the filter on her pictures! 😉

Tbh I will admit that I have judged people for having phones when they've been claiming they don't have money to feed their kids etc (some people I went to school with) but now I've read these comments I actually feel bad for judging! I didn't really consider how necessary phones were before for forms and applying for things etc
When I worked in the community one child I visited at home to assess for Speech and Language therapy had no toys. Not one. Child was playing with stones - quite literally.

There were concrete floors in the house covered with cardboard - no carpets. Only furniture was a couple of second-hand chairs , and a bed that mam and child slept in together. provided by a charity.

She had a decent phone. She needed it - her ex-husband was a violent man and she had fled her home and everything she had because he had twice tried to kill her, He was still trying to find her. The child had a severe language delay and a number of intellectual deficits because mam had been repeatedly brutally beaten while she was pregnant, and also, I suspect, because the child had seen and heard so much violence they were afraid to make a noise - any noise. Mam was terrified that her ex would find them, and she needed to be able to phone the police (for all the good they were) and family if he managed to hunt them down.

You may not think that women and children are living like this in today's Britain, but many of them are. A phone can be a literal lifeline for them.

Thank you. Still shocked tbh.
The Murder Sheet podcast has been producing episodes and attending the trial every day with quite a reasonable balance on reporting. Their latest episode, The Delphi Murders: Evidence, details in-depth info about how the jury could come to their decision. Worth a listen. There’s been a lot of false reporting and very blatant lies by some YouTubers so it’s added confusion.

Welcome to the U.K where selling dodgy firesticks is more serious than being a peadophile and carries a higher sentence than people will get for making and sharing vile images and videos of innocent children. Great message to put out 👍

Money is obviously more important than people. 🤬
