She was a year 6 primary school teacher. I'm thinking back to when my kids were in year 6. Its such a massive year for the children and a huge level of responsibility for for the teachers - SATs, year 6 residential, build up to secondary school - all the drama, little hormones etc that goes with 11 year old children. It blows my mind that she was able to do this hugely responsible and caring job knowing all the time her partner was under the patio.

Another one who got off a murder charge due to ‘diminished responsibility’. What a joke.

News just broke that man has ran around stabbing people in Hainault London. He drove his car into a house then went on the rampage....its not terror related though!
Sadly a child has died.

Sadly a child has died.

He was released from Broadmoor the day before, why he was released when he was clearly a danger! That poor man.

what is wrong with this world, that poor child and their family. Mental health help is tit in this country.

So sad that a 13 year old has died in London after the attack. To be able to attack 5 people, including a child and 2 police officers does suggest mental health problems. No sane person would do that. Mental Health help and services need to be better.

I wonder if the house he drove into was a targeted attack, like he knew the occupants?!

At the moment, with what little facts we have, it looks more like family annihilation.

He'll probably get 15 years
That testimony from her children made my heart literally ache. Truly awful.
He's got minimum 27 years. Manchester Evening News has it but can't link to it from Tattle. His barristers defence that he doesn't take the end of relationships well...no tit. Everyone hates being dumped but we don't go around harming someone we claimed to have loved.

That’s not a mitigation!!! Ffs ! At least he’s locked away - why not 30+ years though?

(I watch other things other than real life crime documentaries, although I'm sure it doesn't sound like it!)

The Ollie Stephens case - did anyone see the programme on Channel 4 last night? It's the one about digital evidence

There’s a series of 3 of those digital evidence documentaries. Each covers a different case. They are all v interesting.

I watched it last night. What the hell is going on in this country? At one time kids used to have a punch up if their ego was bruised and now they are behaving feral. Even the language they used when referring to the knife and the stabbing. The sentencing was pathetic. They will all be out and carrying on with their lives before they hit their mid twenties. The girl got off far too lightly even though her sentence was increased to 5 year. Luring Oliver to his death, now that's evil !

I recorded it but haven't watched it yet.
I haven't seen it but I grew up in Rochdale in the 80s and 90s. I remember this happening in that we suddenly weren't allowed to play any games about witches or write about witches in stories at school. I lived at the other end of the borough to the area where all the children were taken. Those poor families were destroyed by it, and at the same time boys at Knowl View and other childrens homes were being abused and trafficked by Cyril Smith and his friends and then a few years later just a couple of miles from Langley estate girls were being raped and trafficked. Too much rot that went too deep. I think some of the councillors are still around even if not especially powerful anymore.

An angry man would.
