I think she might talk, seems like they were together a matter of days before it happened.
Looks like someone did 😱

Wasn’t it just speculation that the fairy lights had caught fire?

I feel like if the front door was on fire it would have taken a very long time to spread inside the house - and people would have noticed and called the fire brigade quickly at any rate.

I think the fire started inside the house, which is why it was so well established before emergency services were called. The thick smoke pouring out of the front door stained the house and gave the impression that it could have been the fairy lights.
I think the Philpott's fire started at the front door. Seem to remember the c4 documentary saying that they had underestimated how fast UPVC went up.

Saw a lot of names being thrown about, people love a gossip don't they? I still think there might be more to come.
The Edinburgh Crime and Breaking news group seems to be dropping them anonymously then deleted.
The rumours I’ve seen is McVie used her mum’s car. But where the car was found compared to them being found in Chesser on Gorgie Road would say someone picked them up and took them there.

Lads! I finally have an answer to one of my mystery cases that I talked about previously - thread 14, post #605 - although questions remain (I'll get to them)

So, it was about drugs, which I suspected - people don't generally get shot in the head for no reason - and I was right - there had been two previous trials.

No mention of the prison officer I spoke about in my previous post - she's not been on trial with them - but, interestingly this time, when I just Googled the victim's name, this popped up, even though no one is actually mentioned by name in this report. Maybe it's always been there and I've just never spotted it - it's weird though right, given that I've been Googling his name pretty much every week for four years and I've missed it...?!

Anyway, as we speculated, it looks like she got involved in something dodgy in prison with them and, by the wording in both of these reports, this bleeping idiot was the reason the second trial collapsed. I wonder if she'll be sentenced with them later this month (maybe she's pleaded guilty) or if we'll have a whole new trial based on what she allegedly did, together with all the defendants, as they previously appeared on the court listings with her 🤔

Aww lovely to see you posting after awhile,so missed your info on our crime trials etc..Love,y to see you back most knowledgeable lady on here.😊Thankyou.

duck me did anyone else watch 24 hours in police custody this week? That footage was brutal.
Just watched it - gripping stuff. That footage was horrific. How life changes in the blink of an eye. The damage that decision by Papworth has caused is far reaching - from the victims, their families and friends, witnesses, the perpetrator’s family and friends, the police, emergency services to even people living on that street.

Why would any woman in her right mind throw away her career, reputation and possibly even freedom for Jordan McSweeney?

What future did she possibly foresee?

And I don't want to hear about "love", "second chances" or "he's changed". Any woman who enters into a relationship with someone she knows is a violent sex murderer needs to be sat down immediately with a world class psychiatrist.

That is absolutely disgusting.

I can't get over that. He is an animal. What on earth was that prison worker thinking?
