brilliantly done, but given the subject matter found it so hard to listen to in places.

Would also recommend Vishal podcast. Utterly heartbreaking. Similar mentions of CSA. Poor family

hopefully the police will be questioning the person who phoned in the welfare check, if they are able to trace them, because that person clearly knew everything that was going on. And significantly they only made a call when the three that had fled the country had obviously safely arrived in Pakistan, and could go into hiding there.

So sad that they just left a dead girl in the house.

It wasn’t reported as fact, it was being debated about on ex Muslim social medias. They do marry girls off at that age, it isn’t common but sadly it does happen.

They are saying 3 people have gone missing and some are speculating on twitter that it’s the dad and two wives (not Sara’s mum). Not sure if that’s genuine or people guessing.

Definitely more to this story than it seems.

But having said that, it was a very common thing (I first heard about it circa 2010) of Pakistani men entering into sham marriages with Polish - and other Eastern European - women in order to remain living in the U.K.

Sometimes the women were complicit (sometimes they were paid) but it wouldn’t surprise me one bit if some women were duped and then divorced.

Welcome to Glasgow!!! They did a documentary on these "marriages" loads of them gave the same address in govanhill!!!

But generally they were sham marriages - so this case sounds very strange

But those photos of Sara are very off - she looks much older than 10 and seems to very posing for something!!!

I didn’t realise Sara had a biological brother until this morning
Where is he now and why wasn’t the mum asking that in her interview with the sun if she’s also not seen him for four years, surely you’d now be concerned about his whereabouts and welfare

To be honest, I’m baffled this needed to go to trial in the first place. In her position, what did she gain from any of this? She is already serving a life sentence, her babies are dead and her hands did this. How do you go on living a ‘normal lifer’ after that?

Apparently the dad called the authorities from Pakistan to report the death/murder after he fled. Take this with a grain of salt, I heard this from someone that knows someone working on the case.
 
Did anyone catch the new series on Ch5 killer at the crime scene last night?
S1 E1 Jodi Jones. Her 14yr old boyfriend found her and was convicted with little to no evidence.
Obviously it might be heavily biased reporting but seems no dna or evidence of him being there.
His mum continues to fight for his release and 3 appeals have been denied.

I think I watched something else on this about a year ago. Is it the one where he ways convicted largely on being a “goth” and having disturbing posters / material in his bedroom rather than any actual crime scene evidence?

Yes it was broadcast on channel 5 before I think as I watched it when it first came out. I live in Scotland and its big over here as many people think he is innocent. That documentary was pretty one sided and even a juror complained about it when it was broadcast as not a single bit of evidence from court. Its a hard one as a lot of his supporters believe its her brother or brother in law who killed her and when it happened it was in the papers lots and they picked apart his life like the way he dressed etc. He won't admit guilt, never will and he's due for parole in 2025. I myself really don't know if he's guilty or not. We weren't in court and his dna was on her, but it was trial by media aswell.

Yes....
Both he & his mum took lie detection tests PASSED.
Local man had scratches & direct access to the woods, wasn't questioned by police. His friend questioned his injuries & apparently he fell into a bush going through the woods high on drink & drugs. Has since died
DNA was on her top BUT it was a borrowed top off her sister who's boyfriends dna was on it, nice 🤮
Two locally known lads who rode a moped, their bike was propped up by path into wood but no sign of them, they can't remember where they were. 1 of which was her cousin who cut all his hair off the day after her body was found.
A used FRESH SPECIMEN condom was very nearby but not examined.
Another person of interest who can't be named or identified so didn't expand on him al all !!! Guessing a family member.

It's crazy....to me.

It's claimed her brother did it as he had hit her before or something. The family made the documentary take out his name.
