If I was on the jury, honestly I don't feel I could convict him on what the state has put forward. I haven't been convinced that he actually did it. He's a shady scumbag of a man, has likely spent his whole life embroiled in dodgy dealings and lying is his default position, but I couldn't say beyond reasonable doubt he did this. I think there's a possibility he knows more, knows or suspects who did it, but won't reveal that because it would uncover even more of his web of shady dealings that they aren't aware of, or that he himself will get blown away. But I'm not sure he was the actual person that committed the murders.
I still can’t find figure out where the embezzled money was going. It has been established it was far too much for the drug dependency right?
I think he *did it but why is another question - really to deflect from the fraud at the law firm?
*I know nothing about the trial
What's everyone watching the trial on, please? Been flicking between Law & Crime and Emily D Baker but wondered where everyone else is watching. He claims to have been spending $50k a week on opiods and that he was an addict for 20 years. I don't think I believe that. There are rumours he was actually involved in the dealing of drugs.
I think he was involved as he was in the area where they were killed minutes before they seem to have been killed. I do think that they died around the times their phones stopped being used. Paul particularly seemed to ve on his phone constantly and was having two conversations with friends which were unfinished.
I watch EDB but also Law and Lumber has started doing a wrap up on his channel. What's everyone watching the trial on, please? Been flicking between Law & Crime and Emily D Baker but wondered where everyone else is watching.
Drug dealing was my thought too, and possibly owing large sums to people that you really shouldn't end up in debt to.He claims to have been spending $50k a week on opiods and that he was an addict for 20 years. Thanks, I've heard of Law and Lumber. Might give that a go to catch up as I'm quite late to the story.I watch EDB but also Law and Lumber has started doing a wrap up on his channel.
I want to watch Lawyer You Knows analysis but haven't had time.
Just awful, I can't believe 5 yrs is the max term for this. She only got four as she pleaded guilty so apparently that's a max 4 years sentence. Her husband will probably have to live with the effects for the rest of his life.Has anybody read this.My god what a vile woman.

Wow ! What a relationship. I found myself very confused at times but what a sordid messJust wow, I don’t think I’ve ever read such a depressing account of the most dysfunctional relationship imaginable - and I had to Google a sexual term id not heard of before.
The detailed sentencing remarks for Shaye Groves.

If they really gave a tit The Daily Mail would have let this lie as the story has pretty much died off now, but seeing that they went to such long lengths to track down and write a long article about someone who is essentially a nomark shows they don't. Their website most defintely had an excellent couple of weeks for hits and clicks over this case and they'll scamble for anything remotely related to Nicola Bulley in the hope of generating some revenue, just the same as this knob Curtis.Daily Mail tracked down the guy who filmed Nicola Bulley’s body being retrieved from the water. I’m glad he has been named and shamed, although shame seems to be something he lacks.

Well it was goes without saying that a lot of media outlets do that. I wasn’t trying to paint the DM as some kind of saints, just pointing out the man has been identified. Regardless of whether it’s died down, what he did was disgusting and wrong. A lot of people hide behind the internet and never expect to be unmasked. If they really gave a tit The Daily Mail would have let this lie as the story has pretty much died off now, but seeing that they went to such long lengths to track down and write a long article about someone who is essentially a nomark shows they don't. Listen I’m very conflicted about this. As somebody who finds crime and murder fascinating I like to see real footage.Well it was goes without saying that a lot of media outlets do that. You have to admit all of us are a bit ghoulish for our interest in these subjects.
I don’t understand why people felt Nicola was so off limits. Very often the media and/or police will show this sort of footage but for some reason people have become very protective of Nicola

It’s not like you could see her body. It was just the police recovering it.
wow, it even says that her ex-boyfriend's 7 year old son had abused her five year old daughter. I'm sorry but I'm not even surprised given what they must have heard and witnessed in that house. Those kids' lives are ruinedJust wow, I don’t think I’ve ever read such a depressing account of the most dysfunctional relationship imaginable - and I had to Google a sexual term id not heard of before.

I know me too, and she had her two little girls living with her too - I can’t imagine what they must have seen and heard.
