I would have imagined that if someone pissed themselves on a shoot and weren't even able to stand upright, they would be looked down upon and their names would be dirt - but her name is one of the glitziest of all.

I watched the Catwalk documentary recently and the amount of praise that she (and some other models) got for doing very little was really something. Amazing! Genius! Incredible! No wonder these people live in coo-coo land. When in fact, John Galliano had asked her to do something in particular - when walking down the runway, to stop and throw the dress material in front of her - he got her to practice and asked her if she could remember to do that.... and then she didn't even do it! 🥴 but still - Amazing! Genius! Incredible!

I think the whole industry is embedded with coke and alcohol. The Alexander McQueen life in pictures on BBC was eye opening as to the drug use etc, so in some ways it's enabled, I'm not suggesting the folk at the shoot would be happy but maybe it wasn't unusual 🤔

Was in Pearl Lowes book where she mentions a fashion event where they just bring out trays of coke ?
 
Oh wow, I had to go back and see that - she definitely does! 😮

I don't know if this was deliberate editing or not but it amused me when I noticed - there's a part when they have a clip of Kate being asked a question by an interviewer (though it's not so much a question as a statement, and she asks him to repeat it) and then it cuts to Carla Bruni talking about how the models have a lot of time to think because they don't have any real responsibilities, and she jokes that they have plenty time to think about things, and that's why they're so smart - then it cuts back to Kate bumbling through her answer without saying anything at all, her words are really all over the place, it's quite frustrating to listen to. But then we're back to Carla and she's saying "as you probably know by now, this doesn't require a very heavy deep intellectual effort" 😭 😂 Carla is funny, she comes across well in it.

Have you noticed that Naomi has never publicly been with a man that she seems to be in love with?
Her mother was a "dancer" in Europe during the 1970s when many Black women in decent nick affiliated with the West Indian community went to "dance" in places like Hamburg, etc.
My own mother was asked to and said no. I did have a distant cousin who did . She ended up emigrating to Florida in the 80s with her youngest behind the money she tricked for.....leaving her sixteen year old daughter and eighteen year old son behind. The daughter was a mess of a coke smuggler.....ending up in Peruvian chokey TWICE with two sons having to be farmed out to relatives.
Anyway, to bring everything back to the original point; Naomi has rumours of being a "madam" , hence her often being in places not within her intellectual or social capacity. G7 and the like. Has racial self hate issues.
I do havevan illuminatingly funny anecdote from a third party:
On a private jet to Senegal on one of her "Mother Africa" obscure purpose jaunts, a recent graduate of the London College Of Communications a young, Black make up artist , earning her stripes was on the trip to "do" Naomi.
On landing the passport checking process was too long for Naomi and she threatened to call the Senegalese president to deal with them!
Naomi and Kate are mentally ill, conniving, charming, do high class " strange for change" (rarely), addicts(Naomi being the sober one), who would flounder outside of fashion world association with both, along with Posh Spice concertedly having no intention of falling off of the Fame Radar. Yes, that includes Ms"down to earth" Moss.
Another tenuous anecdote a la Primrose Hill Set:
Sadie Frost had a threesome at the then couple Davinia and Dave's old gaff with David Beckham and John Terry.

No, I wasn't in her company. But the world is small and "high" and "low" will always be the best mic of company to get creative juices flowing.
Plus my daughter is a photographer and the gossip flows from the "underlings".
My genuine , tenuous associations are a few Gen X ex footballers ( old first division/non top table Premier League) and a few close friends of Gen X footballers who I met in totally non football related circumstances.
All I can say is that straight men are far worse gossips than women or gay men.

She is trying to make her daughter happen but it's only because of her mum. What's her agency?

Lila is pretty with an ethereal face and reminds of an character in avatar with her slender body, high cheekbones, wide set eyes.
