Can't believe I'm saying this but am going off KM a bit. Her skincare line is cringeworthy and I'm tired of Lila being pushed as a model. She's pretty but not a great model IMO.

Maybe I'm being a bit harsh on that last point, perhaps any of us would give their daughter the opportunity if in that position to help.

Why are they on holidays with that desperado Rita Ora?

I was never a fan of KM. IMO she was very over rated and pushed as this icon of beauty and cool. She always kept her mouth shut (because she's dull and thick) and it added to her allure.

She's a skinny mouse faced (insult to poor little mice) bint who got lucky.

Her very average daughter can get in the bin too.

Kept her mouth shut also because the voice is high pitched and squeaky - female equivalent of Dave Beckham. Although I'm sure he's had voice coaching to deepen his which has had a tiny bit of success because he's not not quite as squeaky now

i think Kate Moss in the 90s was iconic.

Her daughter would NEVER be a model at all - only that her mother is KM.
Lila is a pretty girl but very ordinary.
Seriously - does she really compare to Gisele, Linda E, Christy Turlington, Karen Mulder, Daphne Groeneveld, Romee Strijd, Karlie Kloss?
Same goes for Cara Delevigne.

I agree, she's a nice looking girl but doesn't have "it" or that unique look that models have. Surely if the general public think this the people in those circles must think it too. I wonder if Lila is signed up to other modelling agencies or just her mum's

I see the Daily Mail were having a pop about Kate Moss proving she had ‘moved on from the worrying heroin chic trend as she displayed her feminine curves in the swimwear’ in that article too. I never ‘got’ why KM was such a big deal back then. She wasn’t beautiful to me in the way a lot of other models were, heroin chic made me feel huge in comparison and as a teenager it definitely contributed to body hatred and disordered eating. I can see now, looking back, that the ‘point’ was she wasn’t a tall, classic hourglass shape. Being so different was what grabbed attention and made her stand out. duck me though, the wording in this piece is vicious. Look everyone, Kate Moss got ‘curvy’! Obviously we think it’s great, see how she ‘highlights’ her figure in a tiny bikini and a couple of necklaces. She slicked back her hair too (I think that’s called going in to the sea there DM).

Everything in that article seems like classic Mail writing in that they can argue they are being positive about the subject if challenged but it’s actually dripping with distain. I definitely feel like they’ve got something on Moss (and Ora) that they can’t publish directly so they keep doing this instead. I don’t particularly like Moss or Ora (I know, they’ll be heartbroken ), but increasingly I do feel like something tawdry is going on and it’ll either break eventually or the Mail will continue to post these types of articles. Fair play to them for making me feel slightly sorry for KM though. 15 year old me would never have seen that coming!

I don’t know if it’s the lighting or the loads of product, but she looks very greasy. I think there might be a filter that is giving her the greasy look. She has always used lip filler, but she’s gone overboard. Here’s her as a teenager with her naturally thin, pretty lips.

She was on Curb Your Enthusiasm this season and looked mostly age appropriate. She's definitely looking... different in this new clip.

I think we all know the answer but I wonder how Cosmoss is doing now. I was on a trip to London recently and was in Harrods. When Cosmoss first came out, there was a dedicated stand-alone stand for it, but it wasn't there this time and I couldn't find the products anywhere. I asked one of the ladies who worked there if they still sold it and she wasn't sure (I think she actually didn't initially realise what Cosmoss was!), but then said if something doesn't sell well within the first season then they are removed. Ouch!

What's interesting is that she has referenced the Big Book (the book they use in AA, that's how they refer to it) and she said “I learnt to look at myself, at my shortcomings and truthfully at who I am. And not be afraid." that's quite AA-speak, so she possibly has gone to AA. Whether she still does or not, who knows.

She was probably just forced to when she went to rehab to save her career that time. She’s been lying about being sober for the last few years in order to rip people off - which I’m pretty sure is frowned upon in recovery circles.

It's clear as day that Kate Moss is a drug addicted alcoholic.
She hasn't been sober since age fourteen.
She pissed herself on a photoshoot, ruining a Stella McCartney suit.
She had to be held up on a British Vogue Cover shoot and the photo eventually settled on was her sitting on the ground, crown prop askew on her head, holding a fake sceptre, bleary eyed.
She has got herself into many linestepping sexual situations due to a serious lack of inhibition due to drink and drugs. Who within the normal bounds of tipsyness raucously cries out " who fancies a duck?" at parties, forgets her child whilst disembarking a yacht and on expressing displeasure st hearing a baby crying at a friend's social gathering has to be prompted to the fact that is HER baby crying?
The best thing that she ever did was choose a middle class, stable, parents still married, sober, hardworking man as her babyfather.
Something went wrong for Kate when her parents split and she seems to be stunted.
Worse, her fans celebrate her inebriation and " nothing thereness" as a marker of " cool".

That is some shocking tea. I wonder what it is about Kate that the industry not only lets it all slide, but also praise her so much. I would have imagined that if someone pissed themselves on a shoot and weren't even able to stand upright, they would be looked down upon and their names would be dirt - but her name is one of the glitziest of all.

I watched the Catwalk documentary recently and the amount of praise that she (and some other models) got for doing very little was really something. Amazing! Genius! Incredible! No wonder these people live in coo-coo land. When in fact, John Galliano had asked her to do something in particular - when walking down the runway, to stop and throw the dress material in front of her - he got her to practice and asked her if she could remember to do that.... and then she didn't even do it! but still - Amazing! Genius! Incredible!
