I’ve officially got PGP, went into the office and commuted and can barely walk. Feels like I’ve been punched in the vag. Luckily I don’t have to go in again!!

I remember that feeling, a week before Baby T arrived my partner went away for a night and I thought this will be the last time I’m in my own for god knows how long. 6 weeks later he’s had to go away again for work and me and the little man are here on our own.. it’s much better this way x best of luck with your pending arrival xI was sat in bed alone tonight and realised it’s my last night unbothered, no real responsibility and quiet night… for the next however long! It’s super bitter sweet like I’m so excited and ready but also just like wow okay??? No backsies???
This is my set up. Me on my back so both kids can see me. Baby melon asleep sound. My 4 year old practically on top of me and hanging out the bed at the same time. And my fella probs downstairs having fell asleep playing Fifa

It’s completely normal to worry but even more so in your situation I think! He’s probably just having a growth spurt or preparing for a leap, or just having a tired day. How old is he in corrected weeks? Could it be the week 4 leap? They say babies get fussy before them but nubs just sleeps loads before he starts doing new things.I just went back on the pill as I’m too much of a wimp to get any of the more invasive options like the coil or implant. Which sounds ridiculous after having a c section being scared of having any of those done but still it’s pissed me off though because I’ve bled almost continuously since being back on it so I’m gonna have to go back to the drs!
the baby seemed to sleep loads yesterday and he’s slept really well so far tonight, he seems fine in himself and is having wet and dirty nappies, feeding normal etc but it’s making me suspicious that he’s sleeping so well. Does anyone else find they just overthink and feel anxious about everything their baby does?
Hope you’re managing to get a good sleep @Laughalong, can’t wait for your updates!
Question - what did everybody eat / what are you planning on eating in the first few weeks with a newborn? I thought I’d use my maternity leave before he’s here to batch cook and freeze a load of meals but it’s becoming increasingly apparent that I simply cannot be arsed to do that and I’m feeling like it’s just going to be deliveroo for weeks on end
Takeaways and other half will do some cooking too! I also imagine our families will probably bring us some meals tooQuestion - what did everybody eat / what are you planning on eating in the first few weeks with a newborn? Well done baby Melon
Someone had his first night in his cot rather than his snuzpod and he was fully making the most of the space!! He woke up sideways with his feet in my face
