If you buy something usually and change you mind you can return, but a new item from popsy cause you use their alteration service voids that return? It feels really scammy, great win for popsy for sure! They know that their buyers are too impatient to try and then alter or return

PLEASE NOTE - Any item(s) altered will become non-returnable. Please ensure you are happy with your original purchase and desired length before alterations are made.
I can’t believe I’m defending them but isn’t this standard for bespoke items? I’ve ordered from lots of places where alterated/custom stuff is non returnable

I think the issue is that the usual length is midi which a lot of people see as too long, so to make it a standard length you're having to commit to keeping the item

Yeah that's where i was thinking they've opted for an unpopular length, there just seems to be so much altering to get the dress ones want. And if the dress was not worn why refuse returns, they could do an area of the altered items and not make a lose as it seems it would be scooped up quickly and they look accommodating to customers

They must have the sewing in Nuneaton I believe because they claim they are made in the UK. Plus they do alter and send them on quickly. My suspicion is, as others have said, that the pieces are cut out of the country, which would explain why things go out of stock in certain sizes (if you cut the patterns locally you can add more of certain sizes as you go based on demand)
Without being cynical, couldn’t they just finish the sewing or do a small proportion and still say made in the uk or whatever it says?

Going back to “Danielle” I find him absolutely repellent. I was watching video of him talking about how he wants to work with kids and families and work for mermaids and it actually makes me so angry that people like him can get access to vulnerable children like that in the name of academia/charity. I’m also disgusted as the absolute lack of seemingly any academic rigour of this university he is at if he can do a 2 week course which apparently equates to a levels?? And then basically as good as get onto a university course after a quick chat with the lecturer who is probably falling over themselves to have a trans identifying male on the course. Ridiculous

I think there was a scandal attached to the charity mermaids as well. It’s wrong and there are far too many children who are vulnerable and will get taken in..

Yes, mentioning mermaids is a definite red flag. But just as the cult is blind to the issues with Popsy, so they are with the issues with the trans agenda. All these women bending over backwards for men. I am continually amazed at how many women seem to have fallen for it.

I thinks it’s like the emperors new clothes. None of them really believe it they just all go along to be part of the group and one up each other to show how ‘right on’ they are.

It’s also not something that is easy to discuss in the real world I can only discuss my GC views with my sister.

The popsy cult fall over themselves trying to worship at the altar of Timberley they don’t see what they are actually doing. Tim has more going on, I wouldn’t be surprised if he has followed other paths too but this one gets him more attention.

Just came across these threads and initially felt gutted to see Popsy here but having read the threads it has made me laugh! I hands up admit to loving my popsy dresses, I don’t have 83 but enough to keep me going in work, mainly floral and plain. Prior to finding Popsy I lived in leggings and oversized tops and looking back now I looked so bloody hideous but I do feel confident in my dresses so I will thank Popsy for that. I don’t post much in the group but know some of the characters you mention here and that’s what’s made me laugh because it’s what everyone is thinking but cannot say it for fear of being excluded! Gets a bit boring seeing the same faces daily and knowing that only the favourites get chosen as a “customer model” and I’m definitely not an over sharing person

Meanwhile over at casa de Piddledick, the not at all terrifying image of a sacrificial rabbit head mounted on her stairs. As it was her birthday we were treated to pictures of mummy and daddy piddledick and also Mr Piddledick too, he looks surprisingly normal. Considering she's a loon. Have we had the reveal of Timarihavenovagina's hair yet?
