So I've done some behind the scenes snooping research and this is the woman who made the smurf hat. View attachment 2536190 q

I'm fairly certain Timberland didn't edit that photo as it looks rough. But you can see the crazy eyeliner which makes me think it's actual real life 😂

Oh wow. This lady seems really nice but immediately annoyed me with the twee name and it took me a while to get over it. Same thing with people that put things like ‘sparkle’ in speech marks as their middle name. She’s very active in the nail group and has recently appeared in several other groups I’m in, around the same time as Tim, so that makes sense now.

I find the written descriptions really annoying and then I get cross with myself because it’s a “good thing”. I think it’s more to do with the people who add them generally being annoying to me.
They are a good thing and I’m sure there are many posts where the descriptions are interesting and helpful and visually impaired people are appreciative of the time taken.
However, I would have thought the only pleasure in a a Popsy print is looking like you are twinning with one of the toddlers in your life finding it visually pleasing; if a person isn’t able to see any of TAFKARB’s garments why would they care which animal adorns her person today?

A few more screenshots for the ☕

So Danielle made a huge post including a 5 minute video reading their personal statement aloud and it was really creepy, they are more self obsessed than anyone I on that group. Nobody else would read something for 5 minutes about how proud they are of themselves, all the while eye bleeping themselves in the phone and twirling their hair, it's just so weird!

There's a link to their go fund me for bottom surgery on their tik tok (which is evident on their posts) so wonder if they are trying to drum up some financial support for that.

The angles they take the photos from make them look more feminine but there was a video of their birthday party which takes away from the illusion.

I think people with gender dysphoria deserve compassion and therapy, not enabling and surgery. This is a large, lonelyman, uncomfortable in their own skin, thinking he's found what will make him happy but has no idea what being a woman means. Danielle seems to think that being a woman means peppering your posts with cutsey emojis and wafting around dressed head to toe in pink. I'd love to know what the other students make of him.

This reminds me of a trans person at work whose email signature was very pink, big and flowery etc - as if that is what being a woman is 🤦‍♀️ this was a professional environment where everyone else's signature was normal small black font!

Why would visually impaired people be in a Facebook group dedicated to worshipping print clothing? No reason why they would have any interest in Popsy, unless they are into static shocks

There is actually a few blind ladies in the group. I believe the one that ordered dresses after agreeing with the hubby not to is blind. Blind also doesn’t necessarily mean no vision at all.

Bought a dress I'd had my eye on for a while but it just doesn't suit me so I'm going to send it back. I can't justify £42 for something I don't love. Most of my dresses are vinted finds or from pre loved, I think a lot of us are tightening our belts (not always popsy multicoloured ones) and I find it hard to believe everyone bragging on the group has the money to afford to buy as many as they do.

Timbo and TAFKARB are both at a Popsy meet up today so we should get some interested images later!

Did anyone see this hilarious comment from someone's husband? Scroll to the bottom of the image

I have a form of visual impairment and if my good eye ever ends up with the same level of vision as my bad eye (which I hope it never will) it will be screen readers for me, and I can’t see why I would then want to hear descriptions of other people wearing dresses I wouldn’t be able to see properly but I guess we are all different!

I assume that this is reclaiming dinosaurs from the Terven, who “appropriated“ them after David Lammy called gender critical feminists “rights hoarding dinosaurs” a few years back. Truly, though, who knows what position aT rex would take on single sex spaces? I tend to think they’d be in favour, but it’s all conjecture of course 😂
If we assume that Jurassic Park is factually accurate, which we may as well if we're in PopsyWorld, then we know the answer to dinosaurs' opinion on single sex spaces is for some of them to change gender. And then rampage out of those spaces. (I'm not making any particular point, im just bored and alone 🤷‍♀️).

Today’s thriller from Cardigan Jade

The neckline is terrible and what the actual duck has Gummy got on underneath the dress?

As for the tights combo I have no words
