Joined the Popsy group because of this thread and saw this post today. I feel so bad for this lady’s husband.

Totally agree with their comments. It’s not ditsy or cute. It is irresponsible and surely the answer is that you tell your husband what happened and then send back what you ‘accidentally’ ordered and get a refund or contact Sandra and ask them to cancel the order

He’s a massive attention seeker. I know the sort. He wants someone to notice the baldness and say something so he can claim discrimination. Then he’ll go running to his group of handmaidens who’ll reassure him that “plenty of women get hair loss!” and “you’re so pretty, prettier than me!” He has plenty of options for extensions and hairpieces but why put in the effort?

Also a lot of these guys don’t really want to pass. Timararararara and Danielle would just be boring invisible middle aged ladies if they passed. No they want to be special and stand out.

Came here after seeing the post about the woman buying a load of dresses when she’d agreed with husband to cut back. Honestly I think the whole cult is toxic, posts like hers and more worryingly the woman who can’t pay her rent but has spent hundreds on Popsy in a few weeks are shocking to read as an outsider.

So Danielle made a huge post including a 5 minute video reading their personal statement aloud and it was really creepy, they are more self obsessed than anyone I on that group. Nobody else would read something for 5 minutes about how proud they are of themselves, all the while eye bleeping themselves in the phone and twirling their hair, it's just so weird!

There's a link to their go fund me for bottom surgery on their tik tok (which is evident on their posts) so wonder if they are trying to drum up some financial support for that.

The angles they take the photos from make them look more feminine but there was a video of their birthday party which takes away from the illusion.

I think people with gender dysphoria deserve compassion and therapy, not enabling and surgery. This is a large, lonelyman, uncomfortable in their own skin, thinking he's found what will make him happy but has no idea what being a woman means.

My husband has always told me to get myself something if I wanted it, but if we were struggling financially and had both decided to cut luxury spending I definitely wouldn't be buying several party dresses and I would be furious with him if he went and bought something luxury for himself. I find the written descriptions really annoying and then I get cross with myself because it’s a “good thing”. I think it’s more to do with the people who add them generally being annoying to me.

Come on, popettes, rather than blowing smoke up their arses about their (terrible) dress sense, why don’t you help them out with some actual, constructive advice on hair and makeup? You don’t have to endlessly validate them, the sky won’t fall in. In fact, I suggest that you don’t validate them, unless you’re OK with being an unconsenting prop in a fantasy, in which case, crack on.

Don't worry, if graduates actually want to do anything meaningful in this line of work the degree doesn't qualify them for much. It's all about creating a pipeline into teaching and social work for those who didn't have the grades to go straight in. Pisses me off as somebody who works at a university who runs this type of course. We then celebrate when said graduates go into support work, which is of course a highly valuable and skilled line of work but doesn't require 3x9k worth of fees to be able to succeed in.
