Feel sorry for her but the dress is horrible. How can polyester look so creased? That fabric shows off every lump and bump and just looks cheap as hell. It looks like something from Shein.

And I’m sorry, I’m a plus sized woman myself and she is not a size 18. She could use a size up.

I’ve just ordered some of these cheapo plain ones from Shein for the office. We can compare quality when they arrive!

I appreciate this has probably been mentioned before, but Popsy (and to some extent) the people buying it should consider the environmental impact... they are fuelling fast fashion.
Also from a financial point of view the thought of just wearing something once makes me cringe! (There's a reason that I tend to get my Christmas party dress from the charity shop..)

Does Popsy, at £30+ for a pair of pjs count as fast fashion?

I do wear some dresses/ clothes just once - for a few reason, mostly that I have ADHD and can very literally forget I own something unless it is directly in front of my face. I also can love a dress one day and HATE with a fiery passion the next. The upside of that is that having ADHD also means that selling on etc can feel like a mountain to climb so I donate a lot of once worn items, or new with tags (that I forgot I bought) to charity shops.

I think it's more the continuous production of the same dress/PJs/nightdresses in different prints in limited numbers that produces the got to catch them all mentality and overconsumption that is the problem.

Felt the same going round the range the other day so much crap we don't really need.

I do have a few popsy in prints I like and find them good options for work now they have banned us wearing jeans but the Facebook group does fell very cult like. Also commit the crime of tumble drying them.

I hear that - and it always comes more into focus at this time of year. The new trend of dressing your home for every season or event in the calendar is all capitalism gone mad. Halloween cushions and and Autumn themed bath mats... Ridiculous.

As for Popsy, it plays on people wanting to feel as if they belong to something bigger than they are - which makes it exploitative. I wonder how many people buy dresses they can't really afford.

Share please! Screenshots always welcome.

those bleeping boots. Not those boots are made for walking but those boots are made for talking shite about
Her poor sons, I'd be mortified especially sharing into about health stuff.

I also can't stand how she writes, it doesn't seem to make sense most of the time, scary that she is a TA.

I reckon at least 50% shouldn’t be spending the amount they are but I guess it depends on personal standards and circumstances. Some people see affordability as having the cash or credit available to spend, and have nothing left at the end of each month. Personally, for my own sanity I need to know that I could afford my mortgage and be able to feed my children if an expensive emergency occurred.
