Popsy Clothing Cult #18 Once You Popsy You Can't Stopsy

That was my thinking. I'm no Gummologist but I didn't think anyone in the family was, well... ill enough for a Wish. I know that's very politically incorrect to say but I thought it was really for either terminal illnesses or ones that are entirely life-altering.
I've done a bloody half marathon to raise money for 'make a wish', admittedly it was about ten years ago but tempted to ask for it back now....although it might mean I have to run the half backwards to rewind the whole event!.
I think what they do is really important but won't donate again when they are gifting to this grabby scammer!

Children with conditions that are life limiting are eligible so that would include most genetic syndromes. It's not just children who are dying but who might have their lives cut short unexpectedly. She's posted a lot about his medical appts so whatever you think of gummy being a grifter it's probably fair to say her son does qualify and probably goes through more than a child who isn't disabled. The breakfast with Santa thing was a first come first served opportunity open to any wish families so presumably they've had a wish granted in the past & passed all the eligibility checks.

One of my kids has a chromosome disorder and they'll never live independently. Looking at the make a wish charity never even crossed my mind! We have only ever got something from a charity once and it was a specialised disability trike as they cost £000s and we raised some of the money ourselves first. I do see in the disability arena some extremes. There's always a couple of Gummy like grifters who spend their time shouting about all the things out there we should be applying for and getting for free. Then there's some parents who try and be stoic and never even apply for DLA or blue badges let alone other help. I think the majority of parents fall in the middle. In some ways, it's a sign she's coping though, I'd say a lot of disability families don't have the bandwidth to be researching events or applying for grants let alone attending so many events.

That's fair enough - it's why I thought I'd ask on here first. Regardless of Gummy if her son qualifies, he by all mean deserves it.

Forgot to add you also can't self refer you have to be referred by a medical professional.

Dreary Diary/letter McGrift I don’t trust her tbh. She seems like an innocent slightly simple popsy person however she has the audacity to post a year of popsy outfits after griftinf that she couldn’t afford Xmas presents. She had 3 pairs of popsy boots go missing. She goes on about “work advisor meetings” suggesting she’s on benefits and potentially vulnerable but we also all know her work schedule and appears to live independently… She just seems really manipulative and like an absolute weapon TBH.
