Fully expect to be kicked out the thread but I actually quite like the splash back. Not in a "I'd have it in my house" kind of way but it does seem to suit the rest of the decor and I'm fully in favour of decorating your house in a way you enjoy and that uses some colour because far too many people live in boring grey/white/beige boxes these days

She's right to use the 🫣 emoji as that is tragic.

Pictures of the splashback brag for the banned.

The positioning/size of the butterflies make my teeth itch

What in the year 10 Art mocks is going on here?

I’m not being argumentative, but I’m wondering if I’m missing something? You will get more attention if you dress “quirky” in rainbow dresses, matching necklaces and bright blue hair. Of course you will?

That's totally different to “planning” health conditions.

The insinuation was that the “type” of women in that age bracket, colourful hair, wearing those clothes did and that they did so with the intention of wanting to be known as quirky.

Personally, I have never worn that sort of outfit. I do love bright colours but (hopefully) wear them in a tasteful, coordinated way.
I do not dress either to get or dispel attention and to be honest, other than the odd colleague pointing out some of my clothes are “bright” and my twins disdainful glances, no one comments on my unless it’s to point out they like certain item. I also never post online about anything, let alone my health, however, if I did choose to do that, would that make me an attention seeker as that is the only difference between me and that stereotype. Well that and I do have actual a diagnosis, but as it was pointed out previously, there are many women who have slipped under the net and will now be on a waiting list for years.

It's certainly well done but for me it's more about the discrete bragging.

Is that out of focus or is it my eyes.

I get annoyed when people try to claim an illness when they don’t have it. When I got one of my diagnosis’s years ago I genuinely had someone begging me for the criteria so they could get diagnosed to reduce their work hours. Trust me I’d much rather not have it.

I like it too, we can both sit on the naughty step. 😁
