Didn't know what Popsy was, the bright patterns made me think of Lularoe - it was a US MLM selling bright patterned leggings via parties etc who fleeced their consultants, the documentary on it called Lularich is interesting. I felt bad for their poor consultants. MLMs are vultures.

I wish! (Literally...) My child has POTS like symptoms, as observed on multiple sit and stand tests, and her shoulders and hips dislocate frequently. She scores 8 out of nine on the Beighton scale (assessed by hospital physio), and is also autistic. She needs crutches to move around in a stable fashion. We've been seeing multiple paediatricians for several years and don't have an official diagnosis.

Harking back to earlier in the thread - EDS and POTS are more prevalent in people with autism. And that is the prime Popsy demographic,

If people had to watch their child endure what I have watched my child endure - losing years of her childhood to being housebound and in considerable pain, they wouldn't be so dismissive of the reality of the conditions.
And this is not aimed directly at the person in the quote.

Has she had physio to try and strengthen her muscles so they can help stablise her joints? I'd push for whether it's viable for her if they haven't already suggested it.

I did wonder if they thought had wandered into tattle. There are some negative comments in P&P but nothing derogatory or rude that I can see and all factual. The P&P members mostly seem to have their heads screwed on right and lots of them seem to have been banned pre-tattlegate for standing up to Popsy on safeguarding, or pushing for answers from them about ethical practices, etc. It’s a far healthier group than F&F that’s for sure.

It's a Facebook group called Pockets and Petticoats I think, there are people in there from Popsy but its much smaller than the Popsy groups. Think the lady that founded it did so because she had been overspending and I think got booted out of Popsy. Lots of popsy people joined it and then were kicked out of Frocks and Friends even though they had done nothing wrong, just because someone mentioned Tattle and they put 2 and 2 together and made 25.
