Ugh, I've just read the card that Darrenielle received in the post (been playing catch up on tattle) and, honestly, I'd put money on that being written by a man. Years of working in education and that's a man's writing, and I'd say a man who perhaps has a hint of dyspraxia. I wouldn't put it past Darrenielle to write it to themselves, all the rainbow colours also suggest that rather than a biological woman who thinks she is a man.

There is no level of attention that is too much and I think he uses Popsy as another way to reach lots of people for the likes. He got an article written about him in his local paper and then wrote a post saying how they got things wrong and made them write a correction. It's all about him and what he needs and I'm terrified at the thought of him being given access to young children, though it seems the majority of 'trans youth' are confused young girls, not teenage boys wanting to be girls.

What's coming up today in Popsy land? Are we having any fun prints? NGL I love my Popsy tights and tempted to make another order
I also thought it looked like a man's handwriting!

Absolutely this, making a disease or misfortune your whole personality is rife online and if I think about it too hard, it makes me FEWMIN’.

I first came across the phenomenon when I had endometriosis and was struggling to get decent treatment (sadly an all too common experience). I joined some online support groups, and while some of it was useful, I had to leave in the end because I couldn’t stomach the ✨endo warrior queen✨ over egging, over sharing and elevenrifing about whose internal organs were the most ravaged and malfunctioning. (It was mine, by the way 🙃 I was the best at having endo, no contest). It positively encouraged languishing in your disease rather than trying to get on with your life. It’s a brutal disease, but huns somehow managed to make it worse. gummy is giving me strong vibes of that community, which presumably breaks out like this in any online community branding itself as “supportive”. I think my issue is that you know that a certain type of person is exaggerating, or even lying and grifting and it makes it harder for people who are really suffering to be taken seriously.

I know what you mean. I was in quite a few groups for some conditions but it was a contest to see who was worse. I joined them because I wanted advice on how to continue in employment and have a life while dealing with chronic pain, multiple dislocations and several operations. I legit wanted practical tips on how to do tasks and didn’t get it.

I've noted in the newer releases that the fabric is listed as jersey rather than polyester. The Popsy dresses I have are one polyester, two jersey and one cotton. There is a definite difference in the quality. The poly one has slight bobbling although to be fair it is not noticeable.

Could this be the difference and why they have released them again?

I wouldn't dare ask that in the group.

I too left an Endo group and a Fibro group for similar reasons. I'm all for empowerment but the misery olympics were brutal. Neither conditions are great craic, but some people love wallowing in misery

Rita’s becoming a bit of a star in the CDR group as well…would love to see a Venn diagram between those two groups, snag, irregular choice and Molke.
I wont share there but - am 58 and got that poo kit thing through the post for bowel screening .

I had to do that too after a flare and I was the same. The diagrams 🫣 I mean the scoop is tiny compared to the jar and I can only imagine people trying to poop into the pot and getting it everywhere 🤢

Scratch that - just looked - one is cotton, the rest are poly.
