Just been over to dish out a few likes and comments on the group, hopefully so I don’t get booted. It’s hard though… I can’t bear the posed pics, especially when it looks like someone else has taken them or they’ve used a tripod or something. I don’t like the ones with and without a cardi. Can’t bear photos of people’s footwear. And I can’t put a like on a ‘hands in pockets’ photo.

Doesn’t leave me with much to work with!!

In the spirit of supporting other women and I know many may disagree but I think these ladies really wear their poopsies well. I've blurred out faces and backgrounds where appropriate and not just because *newtoiletDoor lady looks a bit stern. Also included the chicken because it's fabulous.

On a side note, pokey tongue out lady is still posting but keeping her tongue in her mouth now, If you are here then thank you. PuddleDick must have really taken this to heart because her first post in ages consists of (albeit poorly) snipped and cropped pictures of her in her dress that came yesterday even though she ordered on Friday...still can't resist a brag.

It’s funny because whenever I’m in a plus size group and someone asks for dress recommendations, Popsy always comes up. But as you can see from your montage, it tends to be standard sized women who look ‘best’ in them. Most of them are swing dresses, which tend to add bulk to the bottom, and the coloured tights tend to look awful on anyone who has any extra weight on their calves. The lengths are awful too.

I think one of the biggest issues with Popsy is the cut. I ordered one yonks ago for a themed wedding and everything was off. The waist sat too high, the sleeves cut off at an awkward point, there was far too much fabric around the shoulders and it was a below knee length that makes everyone automatically look 83. I haven't seen a pic to change my mind that anyone wearing a Popsy wouldn't look better in something else - they are just badly made dresses when it comes down to it.

Without body shaming, the standard sized women look better because they have a figure that will generally wear any clothes well.

The cut and the fabric let the dresses down. I sold all but two of my Popsys and I think those two might get sold too. Yes, part of it is that this thread has given me the ick for the dresses - but only in that it has helped me work out what it was about them that I didn't like. And for me, it's the fact that the fabric isn't breathable. I'm menopausal and prone to the sweats anyway - this feels ten times worse when I wear a Popsy so instead of feeling #popsypretty I feel like a frumpy middle aged woman with beads of sweat running down between my boobs. I love a wrap dress, but the waist lines are always off - and often this is just exacerbated by the belts. Seeing how unethical they are has just been the final nail in the coffin for me.

Actually don’t know what to say about this but Tattle is forcing me to write more words to post
