I'm watching Pixi's video in small amounts. She said Kori had no psychological support for the last three years - other than a phone call or someone on zoom - when he needed to see someone face to face to talk to. Now I've thought about it, it was due to the pandemic - no one else saw medical professionals face to face either. My local GP is still not seeing as many patients face to face ad most appointments are over the phone.
She also says Kori ran down their 'driveway' to run onto the road into the path of a lorry. Pixi says their driveway is really long so, she managed to catch up with him. Kori could barely walk !!!!!Their driveway has room for two cars and their street is a residential street.....it looks like lorries won't fit down it as there's a small roundabout at one end that lorries cannot negotiate. She says she rang social services (that would be the last agency I would ring) and they told her to take him to hospital.....she added that he was kicking and punching her....Pixi seems utterly appalled at the idea of taking a suicidal child to A & E but, that's the standard practice.....and then she adds 'during the covid pandemic' - yet she's just been complaining about Kori not being able to speak to someone face to face.....I get the feeling that if someone turned up at the house to see Kori, that wouldn't have been good enough either. Pixi then states that a policeman could've come to make sure Kori was safe (???). She also states that Kori often doesn't speak to other people due to his autism....but, an email/phonecall wasn't adequate. Pixi wants to set up an advice line and email for families who may have a crisis in the middle of the night - but, it won't be manned during the night,
When Kori is 'upstairs crying' - her friends in the USA keep her 'sane'......shouldn't you be supporting your son when he's sobbing and not chatting online to your pals??...........
