🙄 I meant it in the sense Celine was one of 13 children and had to grow up quickly, therefore she did have a relatively old head on a young body as many of us have growing up with extra pressures, childhood carers etc.
It really doesn’t matter if it doesn’t sit right with you they were clearly happy, unlike MM in his situation.

Just because they ended up happy doesn’t mean there wasn’t grooming and that still doesn’t make it okay. Anyway, not going to derail the thread.
 
My friend was 14 ( in the 80s) who was seeing a bloke who was 26 , sexual and not good … I didn’t think anything at the time as a kid but when I saw him in my 30s the first thing he said to me was … I bet you think I’m a pweirdo !
yeah.. now I do ..looking back .. total groomer . I raised this with my friend but she didn’t want to pursue this via the police..

I didn’t say grooming was okay, all I said was she was clearly happy in her marriage with him and she’s made that very public, they’ve both taken public criticism for their relationship over the years and she’s been very open about it.

Yeah I find it really comforting to listen to the Breakfast Show on my way to work. Eamonn's accent soothes me lol. Which is odd when I earlier described how the northern accent can make people not mess with northern people lol, but I think it's cos of my boyfriend. He (my boyfriend) is my safe place and has been so protective and supportive, and so I gravitate towards that accent, and I always liked Eamonn as a broadcaster anyway, and bought his autobiograpy years before I met my partner. I like his no-nonsense style.
 
I see Holly’s PR (i.e. her sister) has turned to gaslighting the public now 🤨 “Rescue Mission” My Holly’s fat arse!!

Doesn’t she realise that if she left too, that the show wouldn’t need rescuing?!

I'm really not keen on the addition of videos from social media loudmouths who say things like "bumming him" and Phil having a face like a "burst condom" who regurgitate stuff that's been discussed on Tattle for a long time? These people just want attention and just rehashing very old information. No doubt they read on here anyway - they try to dress it up as their own insider info.

I don't mind so much if it's informative, insightful and the person doesn't have their own axe to grind (especially dislike the union jack avatar types) - or the updates are current - but these are ruining the thread for me.

Not trying to police or be horrible, I just think they're not beneficial to the discussion.

I saw that Sun interview with the full page photo shoot of him telling his mum the bad news...that somehow she had managed to raise a monster and a creep. Such a vulnerable moment for her, that he whored it out to garner sympathy. Every article is so heavily biased in his favour that it's actually laughable.

I get that people see this as a witch hunt or a pile-on and they're uncomfortable with joining in, but come on - he's brought it all on himself and we're only being this relentless because we have no reason to believe liar and cheat Phil when he says "unwise but not illegal". There almost seems a sense of people burying their heads and hoping this is the worst of it so we should lay off now.

For a longtime Schofield looked good for his age then suddenly he really aged as happens to most, but it seemed to happen very quickly to him almost overnight, that really must get him as he comes across as quite vain. It also makes it a lot harder for him to mingle with the younger ones now without sticking out like a sore thumb, another thing he won’t like. The only pulling power he has now, or should I say had was his position within the industry and as a celeb, I think that‘s what he will miss the most his fame/power within the industry. He’s gone from being well liked (not by me) to a nobody and an embarrassment, a bit like Barrymore.

This sounds very judgey but I recently bought boyf a bunch of v-neck t-shirts from ASOS - he put one on and I found it hilarious it showed so much "chest cleavage". It wasn't that apparent in the photo when I hit Buy.

He seems to think it's a gay thing and refuses to wear them (he's not homophobic at all, he just thought it was "too much", but for all I know it could be the thing younger guys are wearing - he's not that young, btw).
