The whole format of the show is 30 years out of date, they’ve not changed it much if at all since the late 80s when it began.

The time came for Richard and Judy to go, it certainly feels like Holly and Phil have done their shift now.

I think we forget Holly is 20 years younger than Phil sometimes of course she wants to move on and try different things, why is she staying?

Is it just to prop him up when he’s had the heyday of his career long before she even started in showbiz.
 
Have said it before but many of those at the top of the tree when it comes to fame and exposure probably don't want to admit that they're in 'overkill' mode. Must be a blow to a huge ego when it's becoming apparent that your time is up. The sensible ones will scale down what they do and enjoy other pursuits (which they can easily afford). Those with narcissistic tendencies will struggle to let go and it's often an act of self-sabotage that brings them down. Some people are, indeed, lifelong legends but Schofield and Willoughby aren't. Their presenting capabilities have been weakened by their complacency and 'taken-as-given' perceptions of being national treasures.
Less is more.

I used to love Ruth and Eamonn doing it. Especially the cooking bits where Eamonn would just tuck in and make Ruth do all the work.

Yes they were brilliant, as are Ruth and Rylan together. Not sure Eamonn would want to or be able to do it on top of GB News but maybe he would.
