Peter Kay

Because I can on YouTube watched Britains got the Pop Factor when he was Geraldine - also R Wayne ,2 Up 2 Down and Geraldine singing- I know him so well with Susan Boyle and Home and Away with Sir Paul Mcartney - I’ve had a good night.
There was also dwarves and donkeys saying duck you Pete Waterman !!
This was funny as duck to me but I also understand it will never be recorded again !
We are in different times but I found it funny x

I would love to watch this in full but couldn’t find it on YT.

His stand up is very samey but I would argue this was one of the funniest things I’ve ever seen.

Had to post this for the Phoenix Nights fans 🤣

Saw PK last night at the o2. I’m 30 for reference and found the first part went over my head but my parents thoroughly enjoyed it.

He has lost a lot of weight and it took me a few minutes to really acknowledge it was him. I’m only familiar with snippets of him over the years but something about him seemed like his “jolly-ness” was pretty much gone, sort of like he was on auto pilot a bit? Can’t really explain it as I obv don’t know the man but did hear a few others say the same thing on the way out.

Overall was a good, fairly light hearted show though, by all means I wouldn’t see him again but it wasn’t bad. Echoing another poster - the “pudding” aspect was bizarre and like an awful panto!

We saw him August last year and loved it. Must really take it out of you doing what? A hundred shows, same material etc since? Must be physically and mentally exhausted by now, especially if as if rumours are true,he hasn't been in the best of health.

Oh I agree! I think that about all gigs and shows - doing the same act over and over again. It would be so draining wouldn’t it? I did enjoy most of it though, it’s just the ending really wasn’t for me but I do wish him well

I went with my husband last night - he does look drastically different & it was strange at first sort of accepting it was him. I’ve seen mixed reviews of the show but I absolutely loved it, barely stopped laughing and the ending was brilliant. The bit about his nana really choked me up as well. I don’t know if it’s true about him being ill but it was so good to see him still entertaining and enjoying himself.
