The first two episodes have been boring imo. I think this show peaked years ago and it's not going to get back there.
Yeah in Series 1 when he’s smashing the IRA man’s face in he’s getting flashbacks of the green eyed man he killed.
I wish there was more flashbacks throughout the show of the man.I started rewatching series 1 and in the first episode there were a lot of flashbacks to the man he killed in the tunnel
It should get a bit more exciting next week with the return of Esmé (If only John could return from the dead) and I presume Stephen Graham’s character will be introduced (as there’s only 4 episodes left).
I know alot of people rave about this show, but I think it's over rated personally. Its all just slick cinematography and no substance.
I'm all for slow motion shots of Cillian but it's all getting abit silly and I'm getting bored of it.
In my opinion Love/ Hate was a far more superior gritty show. The writing was superb and the acting was amazing.
Funnily enough, no end of Love/ Harry characters have been in PB! I spotted Fran in last week's episode and half expected him say ' allllright now nidgey, iv got a bone to pick with you!' (Any Irish or love/ hate fans will understand!)
I do like PB but I think it's had its day now, I'm really hoping it picks up abit more.
This is exactly what I said as it finished. I didn’t not like it, but I didn’t love it either. It’s like a totally different show and not what I was expecting at all. Because it’s the last, I was expecting every single episode to be fantastic and explosive and leaving us wanting more.What an odd episode.
Not saying it wasn't good, it was just.... odd.
He’s definitely in it and I wonder if it will turn out he was to blame for how things turned out at the end of S5. He was getting on it too much and I wonder if he spilled it all to Billy Grade who in turn was in cahoots with the IRA?Where the f is Finn?
Went all the way to this grave, ripped it out of the ground, (which you should NEVER do - you never disturb someone’s final resting ground, especially the little girl who died from a cursed necklace you’d given to her aunt!), just for Ruby to die anyway?!What was with the AA meeting with little Stephen Graham when Arthur was going to knock him out? Why did they make Tommy go on a stupid cross country road trip to find a grave of…some random character we haven’t heard of before? Where the f is Finn? What is going on with this series?!
A++ for Ada Thorne’s wardrobe.
Right?!How can the gypsys blame Tommy for the death of the little girl when they knew the sapphire was cursed
We’re all hoping for more… god knows. I agree with people above re it needed to evolve as the characters develop, the time passes and it’s heading towards the end, but I still think there’s Just no cohesion in the storylines and it just isn’t interesting enough. The episodes are slow and a jumble of different and all equally fairly irrelevant storylines. Season 2/3 were the absolute pinnacleRight?!
I don’t think it is them tbh. I think Esme might be up to something. I’m not certain, but I feel it.
