She’s bleeping gross, it’s just like picking out a new puppy to her.
I’ve just read the full article and none of it sits well with me. Not happy with her 20 boy embryos so has gone through another round for girl embryos, like she’s at the store picking out a child. The way she talks about the doctor who offers a ‘concierge’ service to find the surrogate. Then saying she chose a surrogate because childbirth scares her, so that makes it’s ok for another poor woman to go through the pregnancy, childbirth and post partum recovery instead?

Thw majority of the comments on social media also seem to be supportive , some even saying they’d do exactly the same if they had the money!

Surely they don’t mean 20 embryos? Surely it’s super unlikely to have 20 embryos and they’re all boys? That’s quite a high number for IVF no?

even Nicky who’s married to a Rothschild didnt have a surrogate

That's a super high number for 1 single round of IVF. I follow a Norwegian lesbian couple on insta and they did a few rounds of IVF and never got that many and they're younger than Paris and healthy. Gender selection is also illegal there.

I’m sure I read somewhere that she had about 7 rounds

Is it strange that the 20 eggs they got to freeze were all boys? Like 20 of them seems like a decent amount? No girls in 20 seems odd?

The egg alone doesn't determine gender, it's the sperm that does it (only men have XY gene, so they're the only ones that can pass on the Y to make boys :))
It's interesting and quite against odds that all embryos they claim to have frozen were boys. Unless there's an underlying medical condition with either of them that means their caryotypes aren't XX and XY, but that goes well beyond speculation.

In any case, I wouldn't go through IVF (and put a surrogate through it) just to get a specific gender, pretty tasteless.

Has anyone else got the memoir? I’m
Listening to it on Audible at the moment and I have to take breaks as it’s heavy going.

Won’t put any spoilers in but one thing I have learnt is her mum is awful and clearly is to blame for lots that Paris went through as a teen

im about half way through. It’s actually really harrowing. The beginning gave me such bad anxious feelings
