I’m a black girl who went to a boarding school w all white people and live in a ‘white’ area in London I have friends from Bulgaria, Asia , India, Nigeria etc. Please don’t say that as if it’s ok to only feel comfortable around white people. It’s 2021. Idk if what u said was sarcasm b it I hope so. There is no need to feel at home w wealthy white people. There’s wealthy black, Asian, Indian, Hispanic people so respectfully ... no. Implying that black peoples are ... poor or ?Where Olivia grew up is the posh part of Belfast, so far less diversity there than other parts of the city. I'd imagine she feels at home around white, wealthy people!
there's a difference between not knowing many poc organically (i only met a black person my age when i went to high school - there was one mixed girl about four years younger than me across my whole primary school) and *only feeling comfortable* around people who look like you if you're white. if the only thing that differentiates people you choose to spend time w/ than those you don't is what they look like - that's racism. imagine saying it like 'i'd imagine she doesn't feel at home around black / asian people' like uhhhh the only difference is their skin colour and heritage? using stereotypes to inform your view on people you've never personally met is literally racist lol wtf
Can you please refrain from accusing me of being uncomfortable with a conversation about racism just because I asked for the thread not to be derailed lol. I understand it was originally about Olivia but a lot of the comments are generically about the topic. If you feel I’m derailing the thread whoever said that then maybe you feel uncomfortable with a conversation about race and inclusivity... work on that because it’s a growing topic especially after 2020 and it’s important when it comes to representation. I understand her following probs look like her n but she also has ‘minorities’ that should feel seen and included whether it’s in her friendship groups or brands she’s actively working w. N not only post us when they wanna reach a certain market or quota
Olivia is the topic and how her group of friends all look the same. Can you please refrain from accusing me of being uncomfortable with a conversation about racism just because I asked for the thread not to be derailed lol. She irks me n idk whyNot trying to derail further but anyone see Elouises live (she dosent have a thread) girl got so low and visabilly upset, even gave out to jimbo
I don't think this outfit is terrible tbf, ive seen another influencer wear something similar and it looked sick. Olivia is just too basic to pull something like this off imo.I’m sorry but what is this outfit miss girl needs to stop trying to do layering, her fashion sense was much better in summer even tho it looked like every girl in the UK, this just seems v forced

I can kinda understand that but also then does that mean skin colour is a factor when it comes to who she chooses to be friends w ... idk I just found it weird because surely your love new people and stuff coming to London but idkI know that correlation doesn't mean causation but my comments are based on what others are saying about the lack of diversity in her friend group. This is not surprising to me that they are mostly white and well off, that reflects the environment in which she grew up. Malone Road is the most affluent Road in all of Belfast and unlike London it is much less diverse and overwhelming white. Also the school she attended is overwhelming white, her ex is a rugby player which is played by most middle and upper class people..
presumably orlando if they both went to that family wedding??GUYS. I was at the Belfast Christmas markets 2 weeks ago and our coke queen Olivia walked past me, linked arms with some guy. I couldn't see his face but it sorta looked like a John look a like so clearly gyal has a type She was walked past me and had such a face on her, like she looked as though she would punch me in the face if I looked at her wrong ????
Never said you have to go out and actively seek a token black person im making an observation that NONE of them seem to have interacted w someone of colour or who isn’t a blonde white skinny girl. Youre telling me that’s not a little odd. Anyways each to their own. Agree to disagree x
Olivia Grace Spotify is 90% afrobeats and afropop. I’d appreciate if no one told me I’m thinking too deep because this is w problem w a lot of people. If I feel a certain way about an issue whether u agree or disagree respect it. Sorry if a massive group of UK influencers don’t exactly represent the UK n it’s not just their fault it’s brands as well. That’s what I’m tryna say you’re telling me the Uk doesn’t have any black or poc influencers w the same following but brands are constructing this weird representation of the UK n Olivia, flossie etc are firming it
I feel like you’ve got to be quite ... in a bubble to not have some ethnic friends whether they’re Asian, black etc. I find whenever they have black friends in videos sometimes social climbers .. mainly like Carmie n that they’re usually making fun of them but also Spencer oddly spencer seems to be the only one I’ve personally seen w a mix group of people.
everyknes entitled to agree or disagree w me just dropping my opinion on the fact I’m tired of seeing white skinny blonde ( or fake blonde ) girls sell me clothes for a brand that posts one black person every few months
