I’m sorry, her body is average size?! What planet are you on?
I mean average in the modelling industry, that’s why I put it in quotation marks. The modelling industry is still incredibly behind when it comes to body positivity and valuing different body types, i’ve seen multiple instances where a completley beautiful and very slim body type has been rejected for not being “thin” enough. It can be disheartening to see nepo models and influencers constantly praised and get jobs handed to them when typical models have to basically be the tiniest they can be at all times and work as hard as they can to book jobs

tbh the modelling industry has changed so much that with most agency’s no longer rejecting people for not being stick thin her body is very acceptable for the industry and for her agency. let’s not take away from the fact olivia is really pretty but that ad did her 0 justice.

The modelling industry has not changed that much behind the scenes lmao. And yes, the ad really didn’t do her justice but they can’t really do much when she has the most gormless expression

i agree that she looked gormless in the ad and her actual posing skills aren’t great but it’s not olivia’s fault that models are getting rejected because they’re not the tiniest they can be? that’s on the modelling industry and it’s awful and it shouldn’t be a thing but what do you expect olivia to say? no thank you, give it to someone skinnier than me as they deserve it more?

Obviously not but it’s just another example of how jobs are handed to influencers like Olivia whilst she puts minimum effort on

i think we all love to give criticism on here but be fr she’s gorgeous the ysl look is very gormless and expressionless when u look at their campaigns. she’s also sig ed to elite i think which is a relatively “inclusive“ (like race, sexuality) agency. obviously her following helped her with this but im pretty sure this ysl ad’s casting was targeted at influencers given the format and the fact it wasn’t really posted. i just think this is baseless hating

Her perfume ad is hilarious but it just reminds me how much leeway influencers and nepo kids get in the industry, i can’t even imagine how quick i’d get dropped from my agency if I looked that gormless and uninteresting lmao. She completley lacks any spark and has that dead behind the eyes look. It’s actually quite frustrating and the favouritism is so disgustingly obvious behind the scenes, the way that nepo models and influencers can still book shows when they’re not height/weight qualified. Obviously, the weight criteria in the industry may be a bit outdated, however I just believe if “normal” models have to maintain a certain body type then nepo models should have to do the same and honestly it’s very rare to see a nepo model with that body type.

The hold that influencers currently have is insane, like how is little miss crusty bogie girliepop working with YSL
I’m sorry but we’ve discussed here many times how we think Olivia struggles with an ed.. did you really have to comment about weight here? We know she reads this. She’s absolutely tiny already, we don’t need comments like this

Also most models are NOT toned? They're just thin. Not sure where that impression has come from. And she is tiny
My impression came from my own experiences in the industry and being surrounded by other models who are constantly working out to make sure they’re toned and “dont jiggle on the runway” (i do not think like this but i’ve heard this phrase several times)

Also, I wasn’t commenting on her body in a bad way, I clarified that I think she has a perfectly nice figure and that she’s very slim I was moreso talking about impossible standards set by the industry. Sorry to go off topic anyway guys! My main point was just that sometimes her success feels really undeserved because she really is just incredibly lazy and ungrateful, but I got carried away and started waffling instead lmao.

Let me know if I’ve miss understood but are you saying modelling jobs should be offered to models who put the effort in to be stick or indeed too thin? I think with Olivia’s rumoured ED etc we should steer away from this convo, she is absolutely thin and not average size by any means.

I think they just mean that Olivia hasn’t actually put any effort into becoming a model i.e campaigns. It quite literally has just been handed to her because she has a platform

they said they’re surrounded by models who constantly put effort into working out to make sure they’re toned and thin who don’t get the jobs, so basically olivia’s success is undeserved because she doesn’t do the same? i think it’s a really strange point to make, especially when it’s clear she suffers from disordered eating, i feel like it’s obvious that they were going to choose an influencer for the product anyway? they’re probably trying to reach a new target audience and picked her bc she’s mixing into the fashion world but also still has a large female audience who will buy things she promotes

i’m not saying she did amazing in the video shoot but there’s no need to bring weight into it at all

i don’t think anyone said her ‘success is undeserved’. It was a comment regarding the common theme we are seeing of influencers getting free passes into the modelling industry where they are not held to the same standards as models are. That is not an incorrect statement. No one said Olivia is not thin... it’s literally a general comment. Clearly she is tiny.

However I agree that YSL beauty were clearly not aiming this as a main board high fashion campaign, otherwise it wouldn’t be marketed only on TikTok, and they’d have hired a high fashion model for it. It’s just a new way of advertising using influencers, I don’t think any high fashion model missed out on a big campaign over Olivia lol

no i understand, i just didn’t like that it seemed like the frustration at the standards that the modelling industry hold was aimed at olivia, the bottom line is that models shouldn’t be held to such unattainable standards in the first place

It might just be me but I genuinely think she’s more beautiful than most models. A lot of models are only models because of nepotism. I genuinely think Olivia has the look for it, she’s stunning
i think she’s best for commercial modelling as opposed to high fashion - i couldn’t see her being good for runway or anything but she’d be amazing in print i think

Such a minor thing to be infuriated by but her most recent podcast pissed me off so much when she was talking about girls who use pads “sitting in their own filth.”

There is so much taboo around periods already and I don’t think we need women contributing to it. I hate women who use tampons who have that weird superiority complex. It ingrains in young girls that they should feel embarrassed about their preference in sanitary products, it’s just so pathetic!

Hope she leaked everywhere x

Just leaving this here to say I manifested her leak
