Just seen this and wonder what happened here as it seems like quite a lot suspended so I wonder if it is an internal thing.

They haven’t mentioned the taxi driver, the BBC have a write up about his parents though.

I don’t follow any sport at all but I imagine if any Antrim (where I live) sports team won a trophy/tournament/whatever- regardless of the sport, I would be out enjoying the celebrations, soaking up the craic with my neighbours because it’s a shared cause to celebrate, it’s where we all live and who gives a duck if you follow the sport or the team, it’s about celebrating the achievements of local lads born and raised a stones throw where you live.

Where do they draw the line? Would they refuse to take paddy’s day off as a holiday- because they perceive it to be a holiday not belonging to them. It’s petty, it’s pathetic. You literally cannot win with them no matter what you do.
Should all nationalists start complaining that police let unionists get away with anti social behaviour, pollution, potentially endangering people at bonfires around the twelfth. Nah, we just let them get the duck on with it because we are secure in our identity and don’t have to get involved in petty point scoring. I honestly bleeping despair that these people are leaders.

Division is all they have, it’s all they’ve known. To be this rattled by a football match you need to be a seriously weak, insecure individual. I’m cringing for all of them. Thought better of Doug Beattie but he couldn’t help himself either. Young eyes are watching and it’s them who’ll decide the future. Some people would do well to remember that.

Was thinking with that Dr story you would assume it is medical related at first because they said he was a Dr. But actually that would be done through the medical courts so I’m thinking it is perhaps an ex partner?

The worst is that the knock on effect will be kids taking knives for self defence and ending up killing someone. I remember thinking it was crazy when I saw those videos back in the late 90’s of American schools going through metal detectors and full bag searches to get into their schools but I would say we won’t be far off it soon.

The worst is that the knock on effect will be kids taking knives for self defence and ending up killing someone. I remember thinking it was crazy when I saw those videos back in the late 90’s of American schools going through metal detectors and full bag searches to get into their schools but I would say we won’t be far off it soon.

There must be some mistake in the reporting Owen Mor is a nursing home I believe both himself and his wife were up on charges .

Yeah it seems targeted ? He got a taxi to that specific building he lives five miles away something must’ve been familiar to him.

Yeah, I was thinking maybe he knew someone teaching the class or something but the teacher has been named and she is 35.

Feels like too specific an attack to be mental health related if that is what the claim is going to be. Dont know if they have said this yet though. Think they need to check his hard drives.

At first I thought it may have been a domestic incident as you say if it MH related you’d think control would be completely lost and he’d have attacked on the way to the centre .

Just had this post come up and it probably makes more sense that he just wanted to target girls but who knows.
