Spoiled ballots are probably the only ones that are actually looked at, they’re kept separately and in the case of a recount they’ll scrutinise the spoiled ballots and go through them with a fine tooth comb to make sure there isn’t a stray X that can be counted.
FST is always a hotly contested one, Michelle Gildernew won it by a single vote one year but I think Lagan Valley will be the most interesting one this time, I think Buckley will inch it.

Yeah I have no issue with someone supporting Palestine but it just seems to be virtue signalling to do this when it isn’t actually going to sort anything out in the Middle East. But then I know my spoiled vote won’t do anything either.
it will be interesting to see the results later as it could be like brexit where you thought remain was nailed on but then brexit actually happened. I think the best thing would be for no party to be running away with the votes to establish some sort of coalition where they have to listen to voters but I don’t think that will happen.

I still haven’t voted but I’ll be doing something similar and don’t care if anyone thinks it’s funny or virtue signalling. If any of them had come to my door I could’ve told them Gaza is an issue I’m concerned about but they didn’t so I’ll tell them on my ballot instead.

Yeah, I wasn’t trying to be judgmental btw. The thing that annoys me is I didn’t have a single caller to the door, and haven’t had and been living at my current address for over 15 years. And I work from home so it isn’t like I have missed anyone. I’m really disillusioned with the entire process. Whoever gets in to any area from any party will be getting nearly 90k and a nice pension and expenses on top. It just feels like they consider their votes guaranteed here so they don’t even make an effort. Maybe in England it is different. I saw Theresa May out. I know I have been saying this the past few days so probably seem like a broken record but I’m really annoyed that the politicians can’t be arsed. Naomi pissed me off as she did that video where she was just walking down Bally hack restaurants.

If you live in a certain area your vote will be taken for granted. Sorcha Eastwood genuinely seems to have been out knocking doors but I guess that’s because she’s trying to make inroads in a DUP stronghold.
I’m waiting on goldenballs (what my other 2 sons call their brother 🙄) to get back from Belfast but if he doesn’t hurry up I’ll be going without him.
 
More popular than the Eiffel Tower they even throw in the onion ring 😂

Got a delivery from pizza express and it was honestly so tit. Been out all day so didn’t have a chance to make something and thought it would be half decent. Got pizza and pasta. Pizza was ok but the pasta was like something I could knock up for 50p

Nice one, Grifty. I very childishly wrote “protect women and girls” down the blank space in the middle of the page and put sad faces in all the boxes. Was just going to do alliance, green and SDLP for that but got the fear they would count one as a vote so did them all.

Anyone else up? Looks like some interesting outcomes all round. Stephen Farry looks to have lost North Down, Robin Swann looks likely to get South Antrim, and as we all expected Sorcha looks to have got Lagan Valley.

Turnout about 55-59%

Yeah I wanted to make sure no one tried to count it as a vote so I was writing in Naomi’s section but made sure and wrote a few things under a few others. Wish I had thought of sad faces because that is how I feel about the whole thing.

Not a massive fan of easton’s views on some things but the arrogance of Tim Collins is ff the charts. Give me the confidence of a mediocre man! I reckon Easton might actually be a good constituency MP based on his track record which is probably why people voted for him.
