It’s bleeping tit that we feel this way. I’m sure @Lovecrisps will agree. I used to like alliance. And have voted in the past for them but they have thrown women and girls under the bus. I feel so let down. I just couldn’t vote for Gavin as I don’t like the majority of DUP policies. But almost feel pressured that if I spoil it then Naomi will get in. Apparently alliance had a big donation from a pharmaceutical company allegedly. Not sure if that is true but if it is it would explain a lot. I don’t want to spoil it. I want to be able to believe in someone but it isn’t really an option and actually it is refreshing to know that a few randoms off the internet feel the same way for the same reasons.
 
It is sure fire depressing that the only conversation on the door (and I have had a few given the boundary changes) that agreed about protecting female spaces was with the DUP canvasser who offered to send the candidate round to “try and change my mind about everything else”. I’ve been away so long that this triabalism feels super anachronistic and I declined (despite having a lovely couple of non-political convos with ELP despite myself in the dog park at Stormont). It won’t make a difference but I will continue to try and speak to alliance folk on a one to one basis and maybe find a way through...

And I know that the LDs to whom alliance are connected had a big donation from Ferring Pharmaceuticals who do make puberty blockers/hormone suppressants as I was an activist for them back in England and struggled to reconcile that to the point I stopped working for them.

Can’t post on the Anna thread but i reckon she knows exactly what she is doing, she will piss someone off again but now she will say it is a hate crime to get another free house that should have been used for a family. If we are still here on 13th July and she hasn’t tried to be a victim then I am wrong but I just feel like she is up to something.

I still can't work Anna out! I thought she was a parody for a while, then decided she must be mentally ill and very vulnerable. Now I've no idea what she's at, or why.

Glad to see others spoiling their vote in EB. My decision was helped by finding out the parties read them so that there's no query over whether it could be considered a vote. Feels less wasted if they know WHY we can't bring ourselves to vote for them. They certainly haven't turned up on our doorsteps to find out. Actually, I emailed Naomi Long a while back to explain why I'd previously voted for her but couldn't now and asked questions and heard nothing back. So she'll just have to read my spoiled ballot paper instead.

I actually find it sad knowing that 3 random strangers are all feeling the same way in EB. There’s probably more who just won’t vote. Then she will get in an assume it gives free rein on all policies. The fact all 3 of us probably would have voted alliance but for that one issue.

Just out of that thank the Lord. No idea how it went but I think I did ok. Happy enough with what I put across so fingers crossed. Have seen a few other things too so going to stick some more apps in and also look at the civil service grifting option.

Can’t post on the other thread but have just caught up on the videos of Anna and She was just past my house the other day. Raging I wasn’t out watching it.
all jokes aside she needs to stay off climbing bonfires. It’s scary enough when a teenage boy does it but at least they have a bit of experience/ability. She is climbing up looking round for clout which is a disaster waiting to happen. It’s actually stressing me out as walking in front of the bands is amusing for 5 mins but climbing bonfires isn’t a bleeping good idea.
