Nigel Farage

I think the sad truth is that a reason why a lot of people across various classes like Nige is at least he’s passionate about issues that affect them/us, such as the NHS and immigration. What is Starmer passionate about in regards to improving the country? 🤷🏻‍♀️

His own legacy, basically. Starmer's an absolute roaster. For balance though (my own 🤣), I don't think Big Nige cares either, I think he's just as focused on his own advancement. His wee eyes lit up like Blackpool Iiluminations when he was on about the power (and access to women) that being an MEP gave him, it was quite telling.

Basically, I'd like all politicians to be Dennis Skinner 🤣

Yeah the left just need someone FUN who’s all about BRITAIN. They’d get so many votes, people love cuddly blokey salt of the earth types 😂 No one likes sleazy suited up Rishi or boring Starmer

Starmer is so boring I always switch off when he is talking, so never actually know what he stands for 😂

There's a lot of issues with the NHS unfortunately and I don't think a small (comparatively, to the general population) volume of people settling here are the issue, to be honest. I know people who work 'on the ground' in the NHS and it's an absolute shitshow. There's an absolute incompetence in managing basic things like appointments (pointed out to me by the family and friends I know who work there and have sadly ended up having to access healthcare because of Long Covid or cancer) and a very large volume of vastly, vastly overpaid non-clinical staff on Band 8a/b/c roles. I wasn't aware of quite how many of those roles there were until recently and I was quite appalled.
You’re right about the non clinical roles - I couldn’t agree more.

But I wouldn’t call 1.2M immigrants this year ‘small’ in any context.

Net migration was about 672k, so just under 1% of the population. The non-clinical roles stuff needs addressing, there's absolutely no need for it.

The government? They could ask Norway, Switzerland, Australia, New Zealand or several other countries with a higher net migration per 1,000 population for tips. Populations rise year on year regardless of migration, the difference is how well the infrastructure of the country is faring and ours is catastrophically tit and that isn't because of migration, it's because we have a government who prioritise lining their own pockets (and that of their pals) over properly funding public services.

Have you driven on a motorway recently, sat in an A&E waiting room or tried to get a doctor’s appointment?
I had no idea that the queue of immigrants entering the country stretches along motorways.

There are way too many unnecessary admin roles. But obviously, there isn't the political will since 2010 to fund the NHS appropriately, as you say.

All resources are stretched - not just the NHS. The housing problem hais now gone way beyond manageable.
The conditions people are living in / multiple occupancy is grim.

Most of know that we can’t say we will build more houses / schools / hospitals and create all the facilities that are needed to meet the needs of comfortable (or even acceptable) living. Other countries are having the same problem and they are scratching their heads / looking at what neighbouring countries are doing to try to get uncontrolled immigration under control. The UK has a particular problem as we are a small area but so many people are coming here / want to come here. It would be great if we could manage this but we cannot - it has nothing to do with intolerance, quite the opposite.

He hardly lost, he was a finalist against some Liverpool boxer that had the whole of Liverpool voting for him and who also had a 'bromance' storyline and the clear fave from the beginning, Sam Thompson :) If he'd been against any of the others he would have been crowneeed
Great chance to post his Crown Jewels in emerald though
