Yes and how come she's in a private room, is that standard patient care for all patients at that hospital?
It is if you have suspected infection or are neutropenic due to chemo.

Saying something is wrong with her gallbladder now. Theres no way shes getting discharged today. She does look seriously unwell though. I'd be surprised if she is discharged today.

If she's so vulnerable to infection that she needs a single room - which may be the case if she has neutropenia - surely she wouldn't be taken to visit her usual teen ward to snuggle up in the sofa with cushions and cuddles from the nurses, which would place both her and all the other patients - also likely very vulnerable to infections - at risk. and sure, i get that Nicky gives zero fucks about anyone else and wouldn't care about the safety of all the younger patients because HER wants come first, and she would tantrum until she was allowed to visit her usual ward and be surrounded by familiar nurses who pander to her needs, but she is so self-centred that i can't imagine she would happily put herself at risk, and likely have demanded the nurses from the teen cancer ward visit HER. the fact that she was able to cope with being taken to a different ward implies she isn't feeling as unwell as she is making out, especially when she was obviously using IG and liking posts, yet purposefully avoiding sharing an update, perfectly okay to pose for photos and wasting staff's time demanding porters wheel her between wards totally unnecessarily.Could be a number of reasons tbh. Could be down to bed spaces and configurations in the ward, it Could be because she's vulnerable to further infection and she's better in a single room or it could be because she kicked off about being in a ward so they moved her into a single?
I just find her behaviour really pathetic and so juvenile. She’s a grown adult, and yet she constantly acts like a child. I find it beyond weird. There must be some sort of mental health issues at play here because I can’t understand why the health professionals go along with her nonsense. Its not normal and its not standard care, to whisk her off to a bloody children’s ward to cuddle her… its very odd
None of us can figure it out. She was diagnosed at the age of 30 so she was never a child/teenager or “young adult” with cancer; theres no logical reason at all for her to have ever been under the care of the young persons department and why on earth shes STILL under their care now shes 35 years old is utterly bafflingWhat is the reason that she’s previously been treated by the teenage cancer unit as an adult?

Or a flight to ThailandThat is a quick bounce back from the morning! Bets on how long until she does a tappy tap or gets a pre record out….
She was initially diagnosed at the age of 30 so she should never have been under their care at allIt's not exclusively teenage. I think it's called teenage and young adult' and treats those upto 30. Her still being there maybe due to continuity in care.
But she would get that on the adult unit, there is no reason that a woman of 35 should be on a ward dedic to teenagers and young adults up to the age of 30. Most hospitals cut it off at around 26/27. Her hospital is a really good cancer hospital from what I can see, she should be on the adult unit, it might actually do her some good mixing with real grown ups . On a serious note, the stunt she pulled over the last few days has shocked me. Needing to go to the teenagers unit, with her infection for a cuddleIt's not exclusively teenage. She really is a piece of work and a very selfish person.
