Any message or good that her words might have done is completely lost because she has to make it all about her and garnering attention in the worst possible way. She may as well have walked the street in the dark naked!
Do we think that sometimes Nelly confusing self doubt in her head with common sense and good taste? It’s like she thinks something only looks good and is empowering if she’s almost naked/wearing something too small, or both.
sure we all have self doubt from time to time, and we should try and grow out of our comfort zone with clothing.
but that dress is hideous. It’s so unflattering and looks cheaply made. Nelly has a waist but that draping section just hides it completely. The low cut doesn’t flatter her boobs because your eye is drawn instead to the weird different colour underneath (guessing she’s wearing a stick on bra if some sort).
a Bardot/off shoulder neckline would look so good on her, but just generally wearing better fitting clothing would look lovely on her. Why does clothing have to be barely covering her to be a symbol of confidence and stepping out of her comfort zone? Surely trying a different size and style is much more adventurous than yet another too-small-see-through dress? She wears the latter all the time. Im not hating on someone wearing short skirts or see through clothing at all either, but it’s definitely not out of the norm/comfort zone for Nelly. It could be a full body cover up or a teen tiny minidress - if it’s ill fitting it’ll look bad.
she just doesn’t understand clothing or how to make it work for her. I’ll never forget a picture she put up with herself and B at a wedding and she was wearing a gorgeous dress but it was mini skirt length and shoulder less and just so not appropriate for a wedding. B was in a suit so I’m guessing it wasn’t a casual wedding! I’d love to see her experiment a bit outside of the standard teeny tiny outfits that don’t fit OR the too small leggings and hoody combinations.
I think her body has changed so much from significant weight changes and then the surgeries, that she hasn’t really worked out how to wear her clothing, and it always ends up wearing her. To that end, would be great to see her start wearing better quality, well made items and experimenting a bit more to find a style that suits her and isn’t just about showing off her body for attention. She’s an attractive woman that just doesn’t know how to dress for herself.

I’ve seen someone on TikTok who completely pulled it off (can’t remember their handle as it’s not someone I follow 
) but they have genuine confidence in their body and rocked it but that’s obviously what Nelly missed the point of…

Also I think it speaks volumes that she “finds the confidence” to wear outrageous clothes for content but when it comes to her actually going out it’s the same baggy black hoodie she drowns herself in
