There was another song played all the time which I assume was called To The Top. Lyrics were something like to the top to the top and I'm never gonna stop. It was a male vocalist and always played in the early 90s but I can't find it. They even made a scene for the song where Dani Stark and a few others were dancing to it in school.

Neighbours script writer says Ramsay Street was 'too white'

She's right but then they have rushed it all in at the end. 30+ years of being a white straight show. Then in the last 4-5 years they have got around to lots of first like gay couple, lesbian couple, trans character, non binary character etc. Not to mention the past two years which has had more characters who aren't white than probably in the entire time before that.
 
Anyone following the post on Reddit from someone claiming to have worked on set? I know obviously take every with a pinch of salt but interesting nonetheless

I saw that.

I’m leaning towards bullshit because nothing they said is really groundbreaking or not already known by fans anyway. The so called tea is nothing a quick google wouldn’t bring up.

The bit about Olympia being an hole isn’t surprising at all. She’s another who was cast on nepotism and connections(just look at how many of the Donovan family have appeared). She always gave stuck up cow vibes.
 
I would be more inclined to believe if they proved it. The stuff he said we either already knew like Sonya and Sheila or his opinion.

Now I could be biased about Olympia Valance as for me she's the best looking woman in the history of the show and one of my favourite famous ladies. If she's that bad why would she keep getting brought back? If April doesn't like her why would producers trying to give the show a good ending risk harmony by putting them in scenes together?

I've not read it, but I do
get a vibe that they may not like each other. I still can't understand why she was brought back and not Scott McGregor
 
I don’t get why Scott isn’t back as he doesn’t appear to have an tv/film work right now. So I assume he didn’t want to come back. He does have a relatively young family (his youngest born 2020) so maybe that played a part. There’s quite a few who it would’ve been nice to see for one last time but the last minute timing of it all probably played a part.

That’s a shame he wasn’t asked but I’m guessing there wasn’t a plausible storyline for them to put in last minute. Perhaps if they’d done more with the David in prison storyline they could’ve brought him back as support for Aaron. I’d have preferred that over the Malcolm and Izzy relationship. No way in real life would a child be okay with her mother starting a relationship with their half brother. They could’ve brought Izzy back in another way

Mark could have come back with Paige to see family. It's stupid she came back alone as he'd want to see his siblings.

Yes so that Jane can get together with Mike. If Guy Pearce wasn’t coming back they’d have a happily ever after for Jane and Clive

Of course! I forgot about him coming back. Also unfortunately old enough to remember Jane & Mike together! 🤣 Just don’t like that they are ruining Clive’s integrity in the process.

Oh, I’d love that as I ,loved them two together and it leaves it open for Jane and a blast from the past
