Nadia Anya

I couldnt wait to have wine after I gave birth 🤣

I wasn’t breastfeeding either so might have felt differently if I was 🤷🏽‍♀️

Yeah I'm 25 weeks pregnant and bored of the sober life now - really miss a glass of good wine with a meal, or at the end of the week. Can't wait to have that little pleasure back as soon as this baby is out! Nadia has waited far longer too, after stopping drinking for her treatments, so no judgement from me!

Maybe it's different in the UK than here in the Nordics then... Nadiya isn't breastfeeding so that wasn't my point. My point is that she's been without alcohol for over 9 months and is admittedly on very, very strong pain so in my opinion she should not handle and carry a newborn if she has had even just one glass. But that's just my opinion.

Didn’t she say absolutely ages ago she had decided to stop drinking and was researching non alcoholic alternatives? She did this whole Q&A about it and basically said that drinking would make her feel rough and just had an overall negative impact on her body and now she’s stopped she can see the benefits of not drinking?

Anyway, I think one celebratory glass of something is fine. Bit different if she’s downing several glasses each night

She did, although quiet about it at the time I think she was in the process of starting or knowing she was going to have IVF and was trying to get her body the best it could possibly be. So while she dressed it up as just deciding to stop drinking I think that was actually the reason behind it

Watched her birth story and it sounded like she had it tough with the hospital. She’s clearly happy that her baby was born safe but with all the money they have I still don’t get why she didn’t go private for the birth? Has she mentioned why?

I’m not wanting to change this to a rave thread but her and Jonny do seem genuinely happy and with everything they went through to have their baby I do feel so happy for.

In most cases if there’s ever a real emergency private hospitals fall back onto the NHS.
I think it’s the aftercare and hospitality that is where your money goes (think: food after labour, bed etc rather than being on a ward)

but agreed if I was her and had spent all that money on IVF I would have thought may as well go the whole hog.
or maybe she’s saving her money for a new face as she’ll need it if it carries on bo selecta-ing.

I don’t see any issue with this. Google breastfeeding and alcohol, this is absolutely fine.
She basically had a lifetime supply of hipp baby milk, bottles and sterilisers before the baby was born so how do we know she’s breastfeeding?!

They do seem genuinely happy but my god, already looking to swap her Range Rover for an even bigger one because the two dogs and the pram!
I was irrationally pissed off by the entitlement, smugness and complete out of touchness of that story from her! The living definition of first world problems when your Range Rover just isn’t big enough! Oh sod off love, you’ve been a mum for 5 mins, how about making do until you get to grips with parenting and then see what you need!

She has bought so many clothes whilst being pregnant and for post birth! What is the point? They all look very similar too so even more of what's the point?
Well said!!!

She’s just posted a photo where she’s posing outside some shops with the pram, wearing all white/cream days after a c-section. What 💀😂 just stay home in the warm wearing your big granny knickers in dark comfy clothes and cuddle your baby on the sofa all day. Not be out making content for social media ffs
