Have they been hacked again 😬

Edit: They're back online now the MC mummies can go back to complaining about everything and everyone 👍

Going back to Mumsnetters and etiquette, Charles and Camilla were at some event last week where they were given a small glass of whisky or whatever. They clinked glasses! The King and Queen clinked glasses!

I'm surprised that hoards of Mumsnetters didn't keel over in shock and horror.

Did anyone see the inheritance thread? I don’t understand how the poster could possibly think she was reasonable to expect her boyfriend to leave 1/3 of his house to her adult son.

It sounds to me like she wasted no time getting stuck into a wealthy widower and has her feet firmly under the table.

Most were in agreement to be fair but a few ghouls came along telling her to rinse him of all she could.

I loathe the inheritance threads. Why do adult children think they are entitled to other family member's money? My mum and stepdad are in their 60's. They are mortgage free. They have a lovely car, a motorhome, a boat, and travel a lot. Mum still works part time, dad is retired. Do I think they should be living more frugally so that my sisters and I can benefit from their cash when they die? Do I bollocks. They deserve to enjoy every day, they have both worked hard - but if I were a mumsnetter, I would be getting told how selfish they are. Personally I hope they live until they are in their 90's having had the most fantastic retirement years, with nothing left in the bank.

The tmi thread is incredible. OP did a sexual act (think handjob) in front of the telly (whilst using a film that gave instructions on how to give said handjob) and he's then told his mates and OP is pissed that he shared because the mates wife made a joke about it whilst they were out. Someone commented to say that the wife is clearly jealous that OP is so sexually adventurous and spontaneous for giving a handjob in front of an instructional handjob video

And now people are asking for the link to the video guide

There is no money in my family and my parents were young when they had me, so there’s no prospect of me inheriting anything frankly.

I think people should live their lives and spend their money whilst they’re alive but I also think realistically there are assets that remain once their owners die and I think these should be fairly left to family.

I despair when I hear about old people remarrying a younger partner and leaving everything to them, and their kids are left with nothing.

I’m also very aware that in a lot of cases the money these people have is the result of inheritance that they themselves have received, so I can’t get too indignant about it.

I read that thread and something about the way it was written made me want to slap the OP. Incredibly irritating.

What the duck have I just read? 😂 I mean kudos for him for getting to the end (I presume), because it sounds as sexy as being asked to produce a sample at the IVF clinic.

However should it be the other way and she was step mum cutting the stepson out, they’d be coming up with “you should be treating him like your own child”, and poor poor child being sent such a clear message he’s not faaahmily.

"To think that my child daughter can have equally awesome childhood as I did?" Is a MN gem.

"I grew up not even knowing what a sweet was (i.e. I've been a MNer since I was 2) and roaming free to visit UNESCO sites at age 10. Now I'm pregnant my angel child will be the same. I know I'm right and it's absolutely going to work out how I plan even though I am not yet actually a parent".
