Right. It's basically 9PM and I've been working ALL DAY. And my DH has cooked dinner (he does this pretty much every night and has also brought me wine to soothe me through my evening). However, he's put the dinner in the oven a touch later than planned and so I've still not had my tea (I should have it within 10 mins) .. But I am STARVING.
Do I need to initiate the duck protocol and LTB?

I've had to resort to having a pre-dinner snack of hummus and crackers (no judging me on my abhorent need for both a snack and then dinner please).

Not I but I've heard better tights and popsy are good too
Careful with popsy, they have a similar set of ‘fans’ as Snag who post constantly in their outfits/tights for validation of how stunning and brave they are. They even had an actual n*zi in their fb group at one point who we nicknamed Alan Wayne Gacey in the tattle popsy thread cos he was giving off definite serial killer vibes (this was before we knew he was a vile racist). Actually now that I think about it he’s probably on MN as he’d fit right in, apart from his penchant for a pencil skirt and heels rather than a sister wife dress and sandals made from their own pubic hair or whatever!

They really are so narrow-minded. AI doesn’t have to be the same food, in the same place, lining up for loungers, endless buffets. There are some really good AI places. We went to Unico 20 87 a few years ago. It’s adults-only, a la carte Restaurants, no buffets, more than enough loungers, several different restaurants, and they also had an arrangement where you could swap a meal there for a local restaurant if you wanted to go someplace different. They also say they don’t like cruises “for the same reasons”. Again, it doesn’t have to be like that. We like Viking Cruises. No buffets, no children, no gimmicks, no congas round the pool, more loungers than people so there will always be one if you really want one,

They think they are so sophisticated with their SC choices and slipping on a Breton top and a pair of espadrilles to go to the local marché to buy fresh fruits and a selection of cheeses. When in reality SC often means finding things closed Wednesdays or for long extended lunch breaks, places that don’t accept foreign cards, not being able to understand what you’re purchasing, winding up paying more than you should have done for something because you didn’t understand something, finding the only place in town is a little Spar or similar that is very expensive and doesn’t even have what you want. We once went SC and bought a fresh pizza. Got back to the apartment and opened the oven to find it had no shelves. I also find SC places to be uncomfortable as they are not designed for people to spend a lot of time in them - they assume you will be out a lot. So it’s cheap ikea furniture and random odd towels.

You definitely need to log this with the police. Log it!

Can I just add here, I buy French butter preens

It’s bleeping expensive but good god is it nice. Obviously real French people, don’t eat French butter.
No, they don't.

It is all exported in a deliberate ploy to bring down our Great British Nation. As we sink into obesity we will be helpless when they attack and re-attach us to Aquitaine (pronounced "Aquitaine").

This poor woman, I feel so sorry for her I just don't know how she copes. She is soo teeny tiny that she can't use her bath properly:cry:

She could get… a smaller bath?

I like self catering if it means eating out every day. Self catering like last time I went away, with in-laws, who didn’t want to leave the villa, meant going to the really crappy local supermarkets mostly selling frozen food, and then cooking it every night. And watching them eat cheese sandwiches for lunch every day. Rather than be in beach side restaurants eating lovely food cooked for me. Oh and one night we had takeaway pasta.
