I know! Who knows if that’s true but sometimes I think HQ must leave these things up for traffic/ad revenue. It’s gross.

Is that the one who heard her husband say something about a cuddle? I don’t get why she doesn’t just ask him about it rather than shaking and crying all over Mumsnet.
Because it don’t real 🤣. Apparently she’s a community police officer as well. What a level head she must have in a crisis!
 
The mother in law sounds like she’s crying wolf. Didn’t take long for early onset dementia to get brought up.

I was just reading that, lucky cow. I didn't realise it was controlling behaviour to book a surprise holiday for someone :D

When I started to read it, I thought it was weird (and financially risky) to book something without first checking that she can get the time off from work. But a later post says that they are both off that week anyway. If I had time off work already arranged and my husband saw a bargain like that for some winter sun and didn’t book it I’d be sobbing and shaking.
