Does anyone have any recommendations for the best scar treatments after having an abdomen incision? Or the best places for information and advice on this? Tia x

@Katleesi I feel like you’ll have some good advice 🤍
Depends on how old the scar is, if it’s new arnica cream/tablets are good for bruises/scarring same with anything containing retinol. If it’s a bit older bio oil is always the best, unfortunately with incision scars they tend to be permanent but over time they do just fade on their own as all scars do. Hope you’re okay angel ❤️ xo

Thank you lovely, it’s not for me it’s for my dad! He had a big operation and now he has a scar from the top of his chest and down to his stomach. I just want to do everything I can to help and make him feel better, physically and mentally 🤍

I’ve gone to write about what’s happened so many times but it’s still so fresh and I haven’t even processed any of it yet 🤍

Aw bless you, I hope you’re all okay! If it’s still very fresh as in recently done I wouldn’t recommend putting anything over it at the moment as you wouldn’t want to aggravate it/make it angry xo

Hey! I’m doing good thanks, nothing exciting to report on haha! How are you doing mom? Are you due soon? 😍 xo
Glad to hear it mom! 🥰 yes I’m due in a week and a half which scares the tit out of me!!! It’s just a waiting game now… I’m so excited but also so scared at the same time! 💕

Omg that’s so soon! It’s natural to be scared, honestly I still can’t imagine being a mum yet, but once baby is here you’ll be too excited and you’ll forget any fear or panic you have! You’ll be an amazing mum 😍❤️ And thankfully you get to have your baby in normal times, and share the experience with your family and friends unlike the last two years x

Hey moms, how’s everyone’s weekend been?💕 I’ve spent mine in bed full of the cold. First time I’ve been unwell since way before the pandemic and it has floored me! Don’t even know how I’ve managed to catch it, I’m still wearing a mask all day in work and when I go to the shop. It couldn’t have come at a worse time either as I have sooo much I need to do. I can’t lie though I have enjoyed doing nothing except watch YouTube, Eurovision and Real Housewives😅

Aw bless you, I hope you recover quickly! There seems to be a nasty flu going around at the moment - a lot of people I know have it and I guess it's cos we've all been so used to covid we've forgot about other things like flu and colds haha!

Hey lovely ladies

Recently my dad had a tumour removed from his colon and today we found out that it was cancer. They said it had only spread slightly outside of the tumour but that it has all been removed and there’s no more cancer. They’ve recommended him to have chemotherapy to make sure it doesn’t come back but he doesn’t have to. He’s also being tested for Lynch Syndrome to see if it’s genetic and therefore my siblings and I would be more likely to get certain types of cancers. I’m trying to be positive but after losing my mum not long ago and struggling with the fear or dying and having really bad health anxiety I’m struggling 😥

Sending you all my love lovely ❤

I'm glad there's no more cancer for your dad and I'm sure he'll decide whatever is best for him and for you guys too. Hopefully, with the tests he's having, you and your siblings will be able to take the necessary steps to prevent any ill health. It's a horrible thing to go through losing a parent, I'm terribly sorry about your mum lovely. I lost my dad about 7 years ago and whilst it's the hardest thing I've ever been through, I promise you time does really heal and it does get a lot easier. Anxiety is horrendous, try to take some walks and listen to some music or podcasts to shut off or take yourself out on a little self-care treat... like lunch or speaking to friends. Always here if you need a little vent or to just chat angel ❤💕

Hey moms, how are we all doing?

has anyone had any experience with chin or jaw filler (god I feel like Maddy) but I’m thinking of trying it cos I feel like since my nose surgery my lower face looks so small (I have quite a small face anyway) but just don’t wanna end up looking like an alien like Mads and Han 😂

I had jaw filler a couple of years ago but I don’t think I had enough put in to make a difference and years on I can still feel lumpy bits each side. My friend swears by chin filler and it makes such a difference to her face without doing much and is often quite a good price, just make sure you look at the practitioners pictures and tagged pictures beforehand!! For jaw I’d say you need at least 2/3ml to make a difference xx

Thanks lovely, I always see pictures tagged of people done and it always like 2ml or 3ml etc but is that 2ml either side? that's what confuses me haha x

So it’ll be 2/3ml used all together spread out wherever needed. I had 1ml which is probably why it didn’t make a difference xx

Ohh okay thank you! That's what worried me I was like surely if I had 3ml either side I'd look like a piece of lego 😂does it hurt? Cos I tried Lip filler for the first and only time like a year and a half ago and it was horrible - not had it done since haha xo

Haha omg lips are crazy sometimes they’re agony and then sometimes they’re ok 🤣 no I didn’t find it painful at all just weird and maybe uncomfortable, they often use a cannula so it’s much less invasive and you just feel like the poking around but it also has the anaesthetic in so numbs as it goes, but I will say if you’re a sweller, afterwards it can look a bit scary for a couple of days. I had my nose done with liquid rhinoplasty and honesty looked like a pig HAHA

Thank you lovely! Idk whether I was just being a massive baby about the lip filler or had an allergic reaction because everyone else seems so chill about them but it was the worst experience of my life lol! Thank you for all of the advice, I'm gonna start looking for someone good in my area to do them haha xo
