I notice mam have new clip on microphones, as the DJI ones must have been to complex for them.

Looks like some cheap ass Amazon special called hollyland, mammoth club such a professional media outlet….

It was pretty hilarious in the Knott’s video when Alan was obviously still rambling, but he was completely drowned out because of their cheap audio equipment.

Still confused how empowerment and heavily filtered photos go together. Personally I don't care what a theme park vlogger looks like as long as they have decent hygiene and general appearance. This trend of impossible body image and beauty standards needs to come to an end.
You say this but in a lot of the Disney Vloggers threads , there are constant comments on their sizes
Often about ones who aren’t even that big and often about women
It’s the one side of tattle i can’t stand

I have not finished watching the Knott's Berry farm video due to the jokes. Molly is smart, she is not an idiot, but those jokes make her seem like less.
This was the first time to the park for all three of them. That comes with a natural energy and joy, there was no need to fake enthusiasm for anything.

I'll stick to Justin Scarred's videos of KBF, he does them justice.

I'd have to guess that being a woman in social media is very hard. There is pressure from the jerks of the world to look perfect and conform, and pressure from others to be their own woman and let those unrealistic demands go.

Tattle draws in all kinds who just want the ability to discuss without censorship.

I find it interesting that on these threads we don't hear anyone judging Alan or Max's body forms and yet every so often someone pops in to mention Molly's. It's total crap... but I can mute that person and never see another post from them.

Did they honestly have a photo shoot for their personal merchandise inside DCA? I’m hoping they just photoshopped the background.

I don't know how to tell you this but a lot of people who sell Disney related merch do photoshoots in the parks.

And there's definitely an obsession with Molly's body in this thread.

It's not body shaming Molly, It's pointing out the absurdity of her photograph. If she was legit just standing there without legs and feet looking like the neck of a giraffe straining to eat, no one here would say a word about it.
---
No one mentions Allen's body? Allen is definitely a guy who has body image issues. No one packs on that much muscle without some form of twisted obsession.

this wasn't anything about your post..... I replied to someone else about how on so many other Disney vlogger threads I read here.... you often see extreme body shaming! just look at Disney in Detail's! Makes me feel uncomfortable and sad but hey ho

my point was that with that sort of body shaming some of these YouTubers get.... I'm not surprised they feel like they need to look a certain way!

for all it's worth though, I agree that Molly's legs look ridiculous in that photo !

I just decided to take a peek at Cambrick Yard (owner of DFB and AllEars) on Glassdoor and these reviews make it sound awful! Also pretty sure Morgan left one of them, but everybody is saying pretty much the same things. It’s no wonder Molly left … if you’re gonna work 24/7 to make content and be the face of a channel, you may as well get all the revenue from it and not less than what local fast food restaurants are paying (listed in one of the reviews).

Wow! Not one single review had a nice thing to say. That really says something about the mother company.

There's only 10 reviews. I don't think it's great to work there, but I'd guess those were all left right after someone quit.

I think some of that is part of what came off in Morgan's article, that she basically thought the job would change over time, but it didn't.

Bottom line is Molly and a few others left a job because they didn't like it or thought it would be different. That happens all the time. Kind of reminded me of some folks when I worked retail for a while. Some folks would start then after a couple of months, they want all day hours or not to work over this holiday or that.

Glassdoor reviews are to be taken with a huge grain of salt, but - as someone who works in an HR field - if CY had an HR department, they'd be alarmed at the commentary on these reviews, and hopefully working closely with people leaders and employees to understand sentiment. There's plenty to read into beyond the complaints that people expected it to be something it's not - that's not what will catch HR's eye. The claims of discrimination, favoritism, and low comp are problems.

Yeah - also being promised increases once targets are met, hitting those targets and not getting the increase. It’s likely many of these people aren’t on screen talent - they may be the people behind the scenes doing content for DFB (and AllEars). The public shaming for mistakes is also a big red flag.

I’m sure this job isn’t as”fun” as it appears because it’s still a job with expectations and goals (Same can be said for working in the parks, I’m sure!). But the description of what it’s like to work there might explain some of the on screen departures we’ve seen fairly recently. Also is Quincy ok? She’s been there for a while …either she’s part of the favored class now or suffering in silence.

I was looking into applying for one of the editing or writing positions, but after reading everything thanks to Tattle I'm giving it a miss. I can deal with stressful environments - I worked in politics for crying out loud - but this sounds toxic as hell. It's Disney, your dream job, you are so lucky - NOW BE MY SLAVE!
