Quite a lot of people complaining about the prices in the Instagram comments on her latest post. I am fashion obsessed and I don’t mind dropping a substantial amount on a single good quality, sustainably sourced item but I find Maebe very uninspiring. Everything in the collection is fitted on top and baggy on the bottom. The colour pallet is very dated and I can only see die hard fans purchasing. You can get good branded designer items for the same price or cheaper if you know where to look. Nothing special in my opinion.

The clothes aren’t really having a wow factor to justify the price point. If I thought I would never get something similar on the high street, sure, but it all looks like stuff you could get in Zara etc. will be interesting to see how quick it sells.
