A PLT contract is a death sentence. Weren’t people thinking that she’d be able to bag more high end deals than Molly could? Also, doesn’t PLT make swimwear. They’re competitors for her own brand. I guess if she created a swim line with them it would widen the audience that could see her designs but still, who advised her to do this? If she follows in Molly’s footsteps, her success will wane like Molly’s too. Molly’s had success but she’s made a lot of mistakes. Influencers and LI influencers should learn from her path. Although I admit that the average influence probably isn’t analysing Molly like a tattler but their management should be.

I think Gemma's goal is to secure the cash now( and over the next 12 months) before slowly pushing her beachwear company more and more. The PLT contract is the number 1 contract to get for anyone leaving the villa, you get an enormous push by a brand that has 18.5 million followers. It's a no-brainer.

It's long overdue for MM to take her business in a different direction. There are still deals out there, money to be made but the peak has passed. She planned everything upon leaving the villa short/medium term but it's now time to see what the long-term plan is... if there is one.
 
She has certainly created her own downfall. Just going back to my previous comment about her claiming to work hard but actually being very lazy and opportunities falling into her lap just because her high volume of followers after LI - you can see this with her insta. Most people initially were attracted to her Instagram yes because she was in LI but also because it was actually quite fun, her photos (albeit extremely edited) were stylish and showed off latest fashion trends etc, and a big part of her “brand” was her hair but then she just turned drab and started wearing tracksuits with her hair scraped back.

You can change your style sure, but she jumped on the whole beige girl aesthetic that literally every other influencer is doing too early and now her feed is just boring, lazy, and predictable.

It’s not a coincidence that the photos that get the most engagement are those where she’s dressed in something more excited - I also agree with the comments about Tommy affecting the way she dresses/presents herself. Deffo think he’s a big part in that.

PR wise, the most obvious move to make, is announce Tommy & Molly's engagement in the next couple of months (long enough for the Love Island hype to die, so she can leap back into focus)

It would be pretty easy to get a tv series out of the wedding planning as well (weddings or babies seem to be catnip to ITVBe/ITV2).
 
Everyone in the background is in shorts and t-shirts meanwhile Molly is dressed for brunch at 11 and army camp at 6 🤣🤣🤣
